Spacious Newly Renovated Home-Newbury Neck, Stunning Ocean Views & Private Beach

Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to eat breakfast and dinner at the house . Great location. We went to Acadia, Bar Harbor, Antiquing in surrounding areas and just enjoying the property itself. Beautiful views! Host was very responsive and checked in mid-stay to make sure everything was okay. Highly recommend.

We loved our time in Surry! Wonderful location on a peaceful road that wasn't too far from Blue Hill and Ellsworth. The wifi was great, which was a good thing because some of us had to work...but at least we worked with a beautiful view! The host and caretakers provided thoughtful touches that were much appreciated and made it feel very homey. We loved it and hope to return!

We had an amazing time in Maine visiting Acadia and experiencing the peace, quiet and solitude this home on Newberry Neck Road afforded our family. You’ll definitely want to stock up on groceries before arriving (Ellsworth seemed to have plenty of options, but is at least a 25 min drive) but everything else was perfect. Check-in was easy, the place was very clean, the kitchen well-appointed (with plenty of spices and condiments), and Laurie was available to answer any questions that came up.

Beautiful house, great location. Quite a bit of miscommunication/misinformation when arriving. Cleaning crew still cleaning when we arrived at 4:20. We had to wait about 1/2 hour for them to finish. (Check in is 4). They left and we try to unlock house and given an old code. Had to get ahold of owner for the right code to unlock. The house is beautiful and housed 6 adults easily. The cleaning crew did a very light cleaning. Did not dust or vacuum under any furniture. Could clearly see wrappers under couch. Also had an old Wi-Fi password in information booklet left out. Had to ask owner and was told the new password was left on the side of fridge instead of in the information booklet with all other info. Would of saved time and confusion to have right info upfront. Overall we had a great vacation and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful old house, nicely renovated. Great light. Excellent kitchen with an 8 ½' x 3 . Nice outdoor spaces. Comfortable bedrooms. The host was very responsive. We loved our stay.

We loved the location and property. Location was in a quiet part of Surry away from the commercial areas. Great jumping off point to get into Blue Hill, down to Deer Isle, or over to Acadia (45 mins away). No traffic, no noise. House was in great condition with everything you'd need. The owners were super responsive, shared helpful location/area information, and were a pleasure to work with.

Eastlook is a beautiful home which accommodated our family of seven perfectly. The house is very well equipped, with everything we needed. It is spacious, bright and comfortable. The setting is serene and relaxing!! Taking the mowed path to the private beach was a highlight! We loved it all!! The location was great and we were able to go to Acadia, take a lobster boat ride, kayak, bike, swim & hike local trails. Finding treasures on the beach was a bonus!! We had a terrific vacation in Surry. The house is lovely...very comfortable and spacious, with relaxed furniture. We had 6 adults ranging from 20 to 75 and a 2 and a half year old. There was plenty of space for us to be together, and also good private space. The deck with its views of the mountains of Acadia is enticing. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk. It's very swimmable. We rented kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards and launched all easily from the beach. We appreciated the beautiful setting, its proximity to highlisghts of the Maine coast, and also the fact that the town of Surry is not touristy or crowded.
