Spacious, newly rebuilt, split-level home with three decks near Yosemite

Egret's Landing, located on a quarter acre in the Pine Mountain Lake community near Yosemite, is a beautiful, bright, well stocked split-level home. This house suffered a house fire in November 2018 and the interior was completely rebuilt in December 2020. Enjoy fresh paint, new hard floors, a new custom kitchen and more! Egret's Landing offers guests well appointed rooms, each with deck access, large TV, electric fireplace, a large stocked kitchen, a tank-less gas grill on the main level deck, new crisp white bedding, robes and beach towels, updated light fixtures and fans, and lots of lighthearted mid-century inspired and original art. Book worry free in the winter as we have an on-demand generator which switches on automatically during power outages.

The top level of the home hosts a large master bedroom with a king bed, a double futon, a spacious attached full bathroom with a shower / tub combo, and a large closet. Also upstairs is a guest bedroom with another king bed, a double futon, and the Kids' Cubby mini play room with TV, DVD player and DVDs, and a white leather futon. Both bedrooms have deck access and far reaching views. The lower level includes a bedroom with a queen bed and a single sleeper chair, a laundry room, an attached garage, and access to the lower deck and hot tub from the bedroom or laundry room. Each bedroom features a large flat screen smart TV with unlimited streaming of your favorite sites such as Netflix, Amazon, etc. and an electric fireplace.

The main level has the living room, dining room, kitchen, another full bathroom with a shower/ tub, and access to a deck with a gas grill. Put your feet up on a large, modern, leather sectional in front of a 65 smart TV with Netflix and Amazon, etc. and enjoy hot popcorn from our classic freestanding old school popcorn machine (located in the garage fun room).

We offer free unlimited high speed Wi-Fi throughout the house.

Exquisite views will surround you while enjoying quiet starry evenings and tranquil sunrises in the hot tub on the expansive lower deck. Located near beautiful Big Creek, wildlife including deer and wild turkeys saunter through the property daily. Take a five minute walk to the Big Creek trail head and listen to the water make it's way to Pine Mountain Lake while you stroll along a well maintained path.

While settled in nature, Egret's Landing is just a five minute drive (2.8 miles) to downtown Groveland where you will find the MarVal grocery, Iron Door Saloon- the oldest running saloon in California, a museum, park with a climbing structure for kids' play, casual restaurants, shops, coffee houses, and local residents who are happy to share their quaint town with visitors. A day trip to the Big Oak Flat (West) entrance of Yosemite will take about 35 minutes on nicely maintained roads, and just over an hour to the Yosemite valley floor.

The historic town of Columbia is a 55 minute drive and a rich, historic experience. Columbia is lively and historically staged, recreating a classic booming gold rush era town where you can see proprietors dressed in 1850s era clothing, ride a stagecoach, pan for gold, browse 1850s era shops, picnic, dine, or just enjoy the sights strolling with an ice cream on the old, historic sidewalks.

Within the PML community, you will have access to an 18 hole championship golf course, clubhouse/ grill at the 19th hole, sandy beaches, a seasonal casual beach restaurant, seasonal boat and kayak rentals, a water taxi to take you between the beaches or a to fishing hole, equestrian center, numerous hiking trails, archery and shooting ranges, a public swimming pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, and more! We have included a video which will give you an idea of the PML community amenities and the charming town of Groveland.

For your comfort, Egret's Landing is equipped with a new thermostat which controls central heating and air. Additionally, there is a beautiful, handcrafted wood stove in the living room and firewood provided for your use.

A few more things to note:

The Pine Mountain Lake community charges a per car/ per visit fee of $46.00 upon entry. This is a one time charge at the front gate and they take cash or credit cards.

We receive full bars/ 4G service with Verizon and AT&T at Egret's Landing and you will be able to work remotely from here.

There is a bus service which leaves from the park near the Mar-Val grocery in Groveland for travel to the Yosemite valley floor if you prefer not to drive. Check out YARTS Public Transportation site for routes, rates, and schedules.

Unfortunately, as a visitor you are not permitted to launch your own boat on the community lake, however, there are lots of beautiful lakes to enjoy nearby. You may also rent kayaks and boats at the PML marina.
