Stayed Dec 27, 2025The house was the perfect fit for our family Christmas. We had 10 adults and 8 kids for a three night stay, where we perfectly located for all the family friendly activities. Check-in was easy, the house was clean, and parking was no problem at all. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep, and the showers were nice and hot. Would definitely book again!

Stayed Sep 26, 2025Raghu's place is great! Lots of places to sleep for our big group and nice couch options on the main floor and basement for hanging out. We did not have too much trouble with parking on the street. In the evening, a couple of us had to park over a few houses down or on the next block. We did not utilize the garage so cannot comment on this. The place was clean and spacious. Nice central location within a few blocks of Humboldt Park, to which you can walk.

Stayed Sep 6, 2025The house was just a listed. Very spacious. Plenty of space to spread out. The owner very responsive to questions. Had no issues with the house. The neighborhood very quiet and safe. If coming back to Chicago would definitely stay here with a group.

Stayed Jun 18, 2025Overall, the property worked out well for us. We were lucky to have the handyman there when we came to explain how the a/c worked on the 3 floors. A few random issues - LOTS of mold in the downstairs bathroom. When we arrived we couldn't find towels and very few plates/glasses. We were a little panicked until we found them in the dryer on the bottom floor (had to fold them all) and in the dishwasher - would have been nice to have been told. Parking was on street (garage couldn't fit the van) - it does get crowded. Closet door came off in the back bedroom on the main floor. Coffee maker takes Keurig - but didn't know that - lots of Keurig above in cabinet. byo hairdryer - only a couple in the house. Would be nice for the house to come with an information sheet. Main floor great for hanging out/playing games! Enjoyed our stay and the wedding was beautiful.

Stayed Jun 26, 2025We stayed here for a long weekend at the end of June 2025, with family members coming from Kansas, Ohio, Virginia, and Florida. The house is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood that is centrally located and convenient to downtown, the museum area, the lake, and the north side. There were a lot of sleeping options with a variety of temperature choices. The weather was hot, but the basement was cold (one of our group loves sleeping in the cold and really appreciated this!), the main floor was medium, and the upstairs was a warmer option, if you turned down the thermostat up there. The house was clean and kid friendly. Our group consisted of preschoolers, young adults, and seniors, and all were happy with our accommodations. There is room to park one car on site, and there was plenty of public parking on the street. We had six cars and didn't have a problem finding spots in front of the house or around the corner. There is a coffee shop within a short walking distance and a grocery a short drive away. Our group would highly recommend this for a large family stay.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025Neighborhood was quiet on our street but a few over was not the case. Family area could use more seating. The main bed was hard as a rock in the upstairs room towards the back of the house. Overall our stay was nice and we enjoyed our time with friends while visiting the Chicago area.

Stayed Jun 3, 2025Property advertises as being ready by 3, but when my brother drove in from the airport a little after 3 the cleaning crew was still there and said they would need another hour which was quite inconvenient for them, having small children. However, the host did let us have an hour later checkout (11 AM). The listing advertises the kitchen as fully stocked, which we didn't find to be the case. It did not have simple items such as wooden spoons, serving spoons, storage containers, trays, larger pans, etc, and there were only 4 forks. There was a small vacuum but no broom. Several trash cans blocked the garage door which made the garage hard to use, but there was an additional parking space inside the gate in the backyard and we were able to find space on the street. The property was very clean and updated and there was more than enough room for everyone.

Stayed Mar 21, 2025The space - number of rooms and bathrooms - was great for a big group. We were able to sleep multiple families comfortably with no issues getting ready with the number of bathrooms. There was plenty of free street parking close, so we also didn't have any problems finding parking for all our cars. Some more specific instructions on how to use the key pad (to enter and lock) would be helpful, but otherwise no complaints! I would recommend this Vrbo!

Stayed Feb 4, 2025The house was suitable for our team of 9 that was in Chicago for a training. The location was close to downtown, but parking in front of the house was impossible - the street was full for blocks. The alley spot was small and we had to do multiple moves to get one vehicle into the concrete pad. There was no option to park in the garage as garbage cans and piles of garbage were in front of the door. One of the upstairs bathrooms had a tub that would hardly drain and the other had a handle that kept falling off. The basement bathroom was missing one of the glass doors in the tub so it was difficult to shower. We were not able to get the wifi to work for our stay, making it difficult to complete some of our online work (we were in town for a conference). Several messages were exchange with owner but we were never given access to the password. The back bedroom with bunkbeds had electric heat that did not work, making it a room that was not very useable for sleeping in.
