Spacious Mountain Retreat! Hot Tub, Game Room, Near Asheville

Wonderful place to stay. The location is perfect and is close to hiking, the Biltmore, or anything you may want to do in downtown Asheville. The jacuzzi was wonderful and a great way to relax after a chilly hike. It is supplied well, and everything was clean and pleasant. Only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer!

House was incredibly clean. So many thoughtful touches, toys and games for the kids, everything labeled making clean up a breeze. Hot tub was hot and clean. Beds were very comfy.

This is a great spot for visiting the Asheville area attractions. Quiet neighborhood, all the amenities you need, and plenty of space for family or friends to stay.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Nick and Carly's home in Fairview, NC. They are incredible hosts—seriously, the best we've encountered! They responded to our messages quickly and were so thoughtful throughout our trip.Their home is the perfect blend of comfy and entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxation of the hot tub every evening. Most importantly, the kids absolutely loved the game room; it was a huge hit and kept them busy for hours!We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable, comfortable, and fun getaway. Having stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, we have decided that Misty Mountain Retreat is our favorite, hands down! Carly was responsive and friendly, making sure our issue was resolved quickly. From the cozy interior design to the well-stocked kitchen to the premium (!) paper towels and toilet paper, this vacation dream home has it all. We loved the gameroom, playing pool and pinball and TMNT video games. We appreciated the calm and quiet neighborhood and the wild turkey flock that roamed by each day. The views from the front porch and back deck were lovely, especially the misty mountain views out front.We highly recommend this lovely home away from home.

We stayed at Misty mountain retreat over the weekend in early August. Location wise it's good, close to the city, but also a little secluded. Nearby, there were some food options also. Overall, great experience, and we really liked the home. Very nicely decorated! It was great that everything was labeled including what switches are for and for the cutlery in various cupboards in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked. We also used the hot tub which was nice as well. We also really liked the upstairs game room with the pool table and the arcades. The hosts were very friendly and responsive as well to our requests. Overall highly recommended home

We so enjoyed our stay in Fairview. The moment we walked in we felt at home. The house provided lots of spaces to be together or apart. Loved the hot tub at night in particular. Will definitely come back.

One word, Fantastic! The bedroom’s were spacious and had plenty of closet space. The beds were very comfortable with high end bedding & pillows for a great night sleep. All the rooms were clean and very inviting. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the items you might need. The interior design of this home was pleasing to the eye as well as the quality of the Furnishings. Such a beautiful, comfortable, and lovely home in the mountains. This home had everything you might need for a wonderful family vacation.

All of our expectations were met in our stay at this lovely home. I highly recommend it as a lovely getaway and very convenient to all of the attractions in the area. Nick and Carly were very responsive to all of our questions.

This is a great place, it’s close to town, it has awesome game room and the host were super helpful.

Our hosts were fantastic with communication, always checking in and making sure we were comfortable. The house was super clean and equipped and we were able to pull of Thanksgiving dinner away from home. We had a lovely family time, enjoying the hot tub and game room and living areas. Thanks for a memorable trip!

This property is very well presented prepared and managed for a VRBO property. Our family (two adults, three teens) were extremely happy with everything offered. The property was exactly as presented on VRBO and we had no issues. It was comfortable, clean, up to date and very well organized. The decor and home finishing were modern and well presented. This is a highly rated property for a reason. If we make it back to Asheville we definitely will rebook. We intentionally did not stay in Asheville proper but it only took 15 minutes or so to get where we planned. No issue there but do expect to drive to locations if you book this property. Thank you to the hosts for a fabulous and carefree stay.

This house was great! It was a great location and totally kid friendly. We had an awesome trip!

Had a great time. It was a good central location to get to the different things we wanted to do. Didn't use the hot tub but it looks like a nice one. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch!
