My friends and our dogs had a great time walking around the property and looking at the horses. The house was perfect and very relaxing. Joyce was so accommodating and went above and beyond as our host.
We had a wonderful time staying at Mom's Bee House! The home itself had comfortable beds, plenty of space, and all the amenities we needed. The grounds were great and we appreciated enjoying the scenery, the horses, and even getting to spot a baby fox. The location was great as well and we had easy access to multiple entrances to Shenandoah. Would definitely return for our next visit to the area! Thanks very much, Joyce.
Extremely peaceful and unique home. Joyce was so responsive and kind. Very well-stocked kitchen and thoughtfully set up by host. Great for telework as well. Would highly recommend for anyone interested in a quiet getaway.
On arrival, it was picturesque - you seriously exhale. Once inside, spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need and everything is so organized (I almost didn't want to let my unorganized spouse inside it was so wonderful ;) The basics, are also available in case you forgot anything. All cleaning products, for humans and surfaces, are eco-friendly. The views from the house are amazing and even better in the sunroom. It was so quiet, just the sound of bird song and gentle horse whinnies. The deck is large and perfect for reading, lounging, working, whatever. The master bed is comfortable and large. Trails on the property. Our dog loved it and didn't want to leave but of course, neither did we. The owner is super welcoming and friendly and has the sweetest pup. We'll be back for sure.
We had a wonderful time. The charming home had everything we needed and more with beautiful views of the hills and pastures in a great location near plenty of hiking trails. We'll be back!
