Spacious, luxury home with water views/elevator! 106 W Cape Shore Dr

We had a fabulous time at the Cape Shores house. The interior is much nicer than the pictures online. The house is very well appointed and clean! We particularly enjoyed the screened-in porch and the big sky view from the roof-top terrace. We even saw dolphins, a favorite pastime when we go on these family vacation. It rained several days during our stay but we did have the chance to explore the pool complex, the beach, and Cape Henlopen State Park. We would come back again!

With all the bedrooms everyone was able to have their own room and the kids were able to have their own little place in the bunk room. The three living rooms gave everyone a space to relax when we weren't all together in the screened in porch or rooftop deck. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you can think of. We were so grateful to have two fridges, two dishwashers and two laundry rooms. The highlight of the house is the proximity to the beach, pool and fishing pier. We really enjoyed the pool too. The accessibility of the ramp and 0 entry made it easier for the older crew in our party. And the baby really liked the water spray fountains. This was the best house we ever stayed in and we look forward to booking again!

Reviewer Comments: We look forward to our Lewes vacation in Cape Shores every year (5th year) and 106 W Cape Shores is our absolute favorite home that we've ever stayed in. Recently built and beautifully decorated, the owners have really spared no expense in the furnishings, gourmet kitchen, and room proportions. There is a living space on each of the 3 levels (and there is an elevator), which is wonderful with a large group. The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with quality pots/pans, utensils, serving dishes, appliances, and more. It felt like we were cooking at home! There are 2 full refrigerators and 3 beverage refrigerators throughout the home. A sonos sound system with built-in speakers was so fun. The living room has a glass Nanawall that opens up to extend the living space into the porch - how luxurious! From the crows nest, you can see the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Boat on it's ventures and the bay. This 106 WCS is 7 houses away from the private beach access - something that we enjoyed so much with small children. Downtown Lewes is 5 minutes away by car. This property is on the closer end of Cape Shores to Cape Henlopen Park - fantastic for bike riders and runners. The fishing pier is on the other side of the neighborhood, but it's walkable for most and the kids liked riding their scooters to get there. The pool was not open this year during our stay (it underwent new renovations) - but we've been in past years. The new pool renovation is said to bring in a more kid-friendly area.One suggestion would be to have an additional trash can added to the property. With a house this size, the trash piles up quickly (even with 2 trash days a week in July/August).

So nice to have 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 sets of washers and dryers, and multiple drink fridges. The multiple levels each with their own common spaces made it easy to have our family spread out. The house was in a perfect location - Close walk to beach on bay side and an 8 minute walk to the pool. Having easy access to both was so great for our family. We loved it and plan to go back next year!

Reviewer Comments: Our large and age-diverse family loves this house and community. This house is very well laid out, furnished and comfortable. In addition to being practically on the bay beach and very close to the state park (biking, walking, fishing, etc) and ocean beach, the community has a lovely pool and tennis courts. It is also very close to the ferry and downtown.
