This master suite also has a separate bedroom with a queen bed. This room is down a short hallway from the main master bedroom, and has a curtain to give privacy. Shares bathroom with main master suite. There are also 2 balconies in the master suite, one overlooking the pool, and the other looks out over the fields and towards the river.

This kitchen is not stocked for serious cooking as the one upstairs is, but if you have a large group the extra fridge/freezer, oven and microwave can come in handy (no stove top). There is also a full bath (shower) downstairs, as well as a queen bed, a twin bed, a queen futon and a double sleeper sofa.
The home has excellent wifi throughout. It also has an elevator to make easy access to the 3 main floors.

*** In addition to the main house, there is a separate studio apartment above the garage, with it's own private entrance-way. It is used by a massage therapist, mostly during the week (often not more than two or three sessions a day). If you would like to book a massage during your stay please let me know (with as much notice as possible) and I will pass along his contact info.
No events or parties.
Depending on your arrival time I (or a co-host) will be there to greet you when you arrive and walk you through the home, and answer any questions you have about the area. There is also a detailed house manual outlining everything you need to know about the home and the area. If you have any issues while staying at the home, you will have my cell phone number, and I (or a co-host) will respond as soon as possible. I (or a co-host) will do a walk-through of the home with you prior to you checking out.
There is a small convenience store close by, and restaurants in nearby Galesville, a 5-minute drive away. Despite being in the county, the home is just 35 minutes from the heart of Washington DC (depending on the time of day and traffic - in rush hour it will take longer) and 15 minutes from beautiful Annapolis. The closest large grocery stores are in Edgewater, less than 5 miles away.
The home is in a rural setting, so there is limited public transportation, but lots of parking.
I want your stay to be special and wonderful, and will do all that I can to make that happen. I do trust folks to be honest when choosing this home and making their reservation. This home is an amazing property. Nestled in the woods of Galesville and Harwood, this property was stunning and impressive. Upon arrival the home sits on a ton of acreage and has an impressive exterior. The half mile gravel road way to the home, adds to the charm. Inside the home is a fabulous open space concept with gorgeous windows and lovely natural light. All the rooms are spacious and offered generous amenities. There were 7 adults in our party and we everyone enjoyed private space. The kitchen included everything one would need for cooking, baking, fellowshipping and just conversing. Wow, the home is large and spacious, it feels very comfortable and cozy. The hosts have done a great job in making it feel warm. The space also boasts a state of the art sound system that allows music to be played only in certain rooms so that different groups of people can experience different things at the same time. In addition, the downstairs is a whole separate sweet onto itself that has a separate kitchen, sleeping arrangements, bathroom, and a billiards table. Further, there is a deck off the living room, where one can sip hot tea or coffee in the mornings and watch the dew rise off the wooded, terrain. The house is exquisite. Even more lovely were the hosts… Liz and her husband were very accommodating, extremely welcoming, and quite responsive. In fact, we enjoyed the space so much we asked for an extra day and the hosts accommodated us. It was indeed a peaceful Paradise!
This one-of-a-kind Arts and Crafts home is very special: inviting, large, and well-appointed, and was perfect for accommodating our extended family group of 10 (ages 11 to 80). Comfortable beds and pillows, luxury linens, large living and family rooms and plenty of dining room space for a large group, along with a very-well equipped kitchen made for a very enjoyable weekend. The views down to the water through the many expansive windows create an ever-changing beautiful scene outside that we marveled at all weekend. There were many games of pool played in the large walk-out basement as well as a few dips in the all-season hot tub. Liz couldn't have been more gracious and responsive - everything was easy and lovely. We would love to return to Waterfields!
We are a group of shipwreck scuba divers and have been a local club for 50 years. This was an absolutely great place for us to stay for a local reunion. We had 15 older adults (7 couples) and there was enough room for everyone to have their own space as well as for everyone to gather together. Everyone raved about the place. We would absolutely stay here again if we are in the area.
The house is gigantic with plenty of beds for everyone. We enjoyed our stay that balanced relaxation at the house with day trips to DC and Annapolis.
We just spent ten days at Liz property again. The property, amenities and location can’t be beat. There’s enough space for our family of ten to spread out comfortably but still spend tons of time together in the common areas and pool. A ten minute drive gets you to stores and restaurants! A few days into our stay, a huge storm came through that knocked the power out in most of the area including half af Annapolis. Fortunately the house has a generator which seamlessly went to work so we weren’t left in the dark. The next day Liz showed up with an electrician to make sure all was well and we had access to everything we needed. This house has become the families favors annual destination!
It was a pricey stay, but well worth it. Beautiful land, beautiful home, great pool. Had everything you need…absolutely everything, which most house rentals lack. Every kitchen utensil you could imagine…soaps/shampoos for showering. Loved the pool table, and beds were exceptionally comfortable. Plenty of space…and even had backup propane tanks for grilling. The property exceeded my high expectations. Really one of the best rentals I’ve ever seen. Well worth the money. However, only thing that I didn’t like was an undisclosed masseuse/resident who was there most days. For the price I need privacy and exclusivity. It was not disclosed in the ad that I remember, and would have made me think twice about the rental. I prefer privacy at the price Liz charged. However, the masseuse left us alone, so wasn’t overly intrusive at all. Nice guy to boot. Highly recommend overall. One of our best vrbos. Rob
The house had everything you could need. Great place for our family to gather for the first time in years. Allowed for everyone from our elementary kids to elderly grandparents to enjoy. House was spacious and clean
We have a wonderful time. The weather was very nice . The house was beautiful, clean and Liz had everything available for us . The kids and young adults enjoyed the pool . Liz was always available if you needed her .
Liz was wonderful beginning to end and the house is absolutely amazing. We got the rest and reset we needed. Will definitely be back!
Very beautiful home and property. Liz and Francis were very welcoming host's who made sure our stay was enjoyable. Our group of eight had plenty of room to sleep and spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed. We all look forward to returning next year for our annual getaway.
I definitely recommend this place, is a beautiful house and property, plenty of space for children, the owner such a great person, don't hesitate to rent this beautiful house.
Liz’s property was a major part of my wedding weekend and it could not have provided a nicer setting to relax and prepare for such an important milestone. The house was clean; beautiful, and spacious for a group of 10 adults. The grounds were well kept and fun to explore. And the setting was absolutely gorgeous. I’m eager to find another excuse to rent the property in the future.
This was our second year staying at this house and hope to be back for a third! House is great with many comfortable bedrooms, big living room and great outdoor space. We were a group of 12 and had ample space. Thanks again!
We had such a relaxing stay and enjoyed family time. Weather was gorgeous and the property was located in a fun spot for fall activities! Plenty of room and fun for all ages!
We will be back there next year . That says it all .
The home and grounds are exceptionally clean and well kept and quite beautiful, peaceful and restful. A great place to relax and recharge. Guidelines were clear, easily understood and reasonable. Hostess is prompt on responding to questions and very helpful.
This is our second year at this property. We choose it every year because it has everything we want. Its well equipped on a large lot with a pool. Its large enough so we don't feel crowded. Meanwhile there are enough things to do to keep everyone busy. The kids love the pool and the outdoors, the adults like the space, t he views and the company. The hosts are great and very responsive.
Discussed some concerns with the property manager and as usual a prompt reply and we know that corrective action will be taken.
We had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful home. The family enjoyed every moment and can't wait to go back.
The house was large enough that our group of 15 never felt crowded. The house was well stocked. The grounds are beautiful - very quiet and private.
Honestly the photos do not do this place justice. It is absolutely gorgeous and would love to spend more time there soon. Also the hosts are extremely helpful and great.
