Spacious Lake Front 5-bedroom house on Lake Norman with WiFi

The Host was excellent. The view was amazing. The place was well equipped. Many things convenient.

Kitchen counters were dirty, Faucets constantly dripped. Master Bathroom had mold because the vent didn't work. Cockroaches. Most rooms had large scrapes in the walls. Dining room is painted with 2 different finishes on the same wall. One shower was so narrow I couldn't turn around in it. The deck off the kitchen had steps that were unsafe. Handrails are barely attached. Boat house had no AC or hot water on second floor. All screens on the boat house porch have holes or are barely attached. Grill on boat house deck was unusable. Marty said he would replace it. He brought a new propane tank and tried cleaning it. It was still unusable. Smoker at main house was just as dirty. Marty cleaned it a little. My brother finally cleaned it enough for us to use. Shower in the lower level leaked onto the floor and my sister-in-law almost slipped and fell. Lower-level ceiling had spots of water leaks in numerous places. Kitchen lights were filled with dead bugs. Patio furniture at boat house is falling apart. Communication with Marty is poor at best. Access codes to enter didn't work. Instead of putting away his liquor, he left it out throughout the house with specific instructions not to touch. He has numerous rooms that are locked, so he could have put them away. We made the best of the situation but will never rent this location again. I will also think twice before using VRBO to book a vacation rental. I will also advise my friends to be careful using your services.

Property is in a great location with plenty of space and amenities. We booked as a location closer to our daughters venue.

We had a wonderful family get-together for a week at the lake and the accommodations were exactly what we needed and more.

We made great memories here! There was always something to do and Marty was wonderful to work with.

Host was communicative and made the entire process so easy, including answering and questions or requests that popped up. House was clean and perfect for my group of friends and our boat for an amazing 4th of July. Tons of seating and places to hang out, we loved every second. Highly recommend!

This house is on the lake and a great location. House was very suitable and we enjoyed our stay. Rented the pontoon boat for two days and enjoyed the Lake.

Spent a long weekend with friends and family Celebrating my son’s 12th grad graduation. This house had everything we needed to throw a cookout/seafood boil. there was plenty of activities to keep a group of teenagers busy. Paddle boarding, and fishing seemed to be the favorite. I would stay here again.
