Stayed Jul 30, 2018We have just returned from a lovely break at Casa 54. The house is fully equipped with everything needed and the aircon was an absolute blessing during this very hot summer ! Our teenagers loved the roof terrace which they accessed from their bedroom. We sat up there and played cards in the evenings - really pretty and restful with the soft lighting and candles. We loved the pool - Lovely and clean and perfect temperature - we seemed to have it to ourselves for a lot of the day - particularly during the afternoon when only the 'mad englishmen' are out and about !! We were so pleased we could use our lilos and fun inflatables too (something that a lot of other communal pools frown at !). We noticed that the complex was very 'spanish' and maybe they are permanent homeowners or second homes - which we particularly favoured. We were never kept awake at night by revellers which was much appreciated. We hired a car and managed to travel to some lovely beaches and also went inland to beautiful Ronda which we would highly recommend. Brian from Homeaway welcomed us and was particularly helpful and always on hand for any questions - thank you so much - we loved it !

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Casa 54 is lovely! It is a complete home from home and Margaret has thought of everything. We traveled with 2 adult daughters and there is plenty of space for the family to spread out and relax individually and then come together again for meals, chats, drinks etc. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment including a washing machine, which is very handy. Clothes dry in a matter of hours in that climate. The 2 bathrooms in the property are convenient if traveling with a group. Our favorite aspect of this property is the roof terrace. It is just so picturesque with sea and mountain views and is gorgeous to sit on at any time of day but particularly in the evening when it is cooler and to take in the sunset, This is a residential unit so the majority of other properties have permanent residents. They are all very friendly and welcoming. The beauty is that when we traveled in May, other households are at work or school during the day, so the pool was ours all day long. It felt very private as it is just outside the door of Casa 54. The surroundings of the residential area are quintessentially Spanish- lots of lovely mosaic tiles, steps, beautiful flowers (the gardens and common areas are excellently kept). Whoever designed this property was very sympathetic to original Spanish design and culture and it all adds to the holiday ambiance. It is also a gated community so very safe. Marbella itself is beautiful. This was our first time to visit, but won't be our last. The narrowed streets of the Old Town with lots of choice of eateries make you gravitate there most evenings. We taxied to avoid car hire and between 4 this is relatively inexpensive. I would highly recommend this property with it's laid back vibe and really reasonable rates for a holiday- be it group, family or individual. Check it out!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Lovely stay in this villa, everything you need for a week in the sun. Nice quiet location, brilliant roof terrace where we spent most of our time, pool was never crowded and had a chilled atmosphere. It took about 20 minutes to walk to the nearest beach, and about 40 minutes, to Marbella town. Would advise getting a taxi back in the evening, which takes about 10 mins, the villa is not far out once you get your bearings. We enjoyed a peaceful week in the sun, with everything you need a shirt distance away. Would stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Casa 54 was in a great location with a magnificent communal pool. Accommodation was fantastic with all mod cons including air con and wi-fi. Bus stop nearby makes access to Marbella centre very easy. Roof top garden is ideal for barbecuing or sun bathing and has delightful mountain views. Would recommend Casa 54 as a great holiday destination close to all amenities and beautiful beaches.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969After period of busy sightseeing inland in Seville, we wanted somewhere to chill out and relax and this fitted the bill. Property was as described -plenty of space and equipped with all that we needed. Choice of two balcony/terraces for outdoor eating/sitting as well as roof terrace complete with loungers for views of mountains and sunsets. Pool just outside the door was very welcome and refreshing - and not very busy for the duration of our stay. Convenient local minimarket and restaurant. Easy to get to Marbella and further afield (hourly bus to centre of Marbella - more buses at bottom of hill (15m walk). Very good communication from owner. Added advantage that owner had installed wifi which was extremely useful. All in all, a good location, well equipped property which suited our needs perfectly.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The owner Margaret was very easy to deal with from the beginning till the end of our stay at her townhouse. We loved being able to walk to the beach and Old Town Marbella and had no problem walking up the hill at the end of our days. The neighbours here are very welcoming and the children who live here are playing outside all day, which we found delightful. It was nice to be able to utilize the tennis court that is part of this complex and later head to the wonderful pool that is onsite. I highly recommend this spot and hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I would wholeheartedly recommend this property for a relaxing break. Set in a quiet residential area, the house is spacious with a patio, two balconies and a fantastic private roof terrace. We found the house 'handbook' created by the owner invaluable for advice, directions and suggested places to visit - we all loved Marbella market which we wouldn't have known about otherwise. We didn't have a car but didn't find we needed one as transport links were great and taxis (with groceries) were very reasonable. All in all a memorable holiday.
