Spacious house-great for families! Large private pool! Steps away from the beach

It was a great space for our family. 3 couples, 2adult daughters, and 5 grandchildren all had their own spaces, and the open family/dining/kitchen area was perfect for being together. The pool and patio was enjoyed every day by all. The home was well equipped with all that we needed-beach/pool towels, toys, games, kitchen wares, coffee filters, spices. Location was right off 30A and convenient to shops, restaurants, and beach-however, getting to public beach access-finding it with all the private beach areas to a little time, and parking even with a golf cart was a challenge-only about 5 spaces at end of road by beach access. We also had 3 cockroaches-1 found dead in cupboard and 2 live ones-1 in kitchen and 1 in common area in lower level. A response from owner after finding first dead one in cupboard was that it was a result of the extermination process that was a regular service. After that 2 more live ones were found. The house was very clean and we did our best to keep it that way-especially the kitchen, and were diligent about only eating in kitchen and dining areas but to no avail. Other than this problem, we had a wonderful time at this property, but thought it should be known as it was unfortunate to deal with.

Love the house, property and accommodations. Private beach access was a major disappointment.

Our family of 14 enjoyed our stay in this lovely beach home. The kitchen is well equipped with all the neccessities as well as extras. We appreciated when we used the oven that it did not heat up the kitchen!! The dining table only seats 6 so we couldn't eat together as a family. Ceiling fans on the decks would have made eating outside tolerable as the flies and the heat were oppressive for outdoor dining. Washers and dryers as well as refrigerators on ground floor and main floor was a plus. The dryer on the main floor is in serious need of repair! Sleeping arrangements worked well for our family. Beds are comfy, plenty of nice bath towels. Pool was great and clean but there weren't enough beach towels for everyone. Also, there were no beach chairs provided even though its stated that they are provided. Beach access is a bit of a haul with small children and the owners description of this was pretty accurate. Overall I'd say this is a great property. The lower floor and the main floor appear to have been given a face lift fairly recently but the top floor is a little tired-old carpet-yuk!

The house was exactly what we were looking for. Our families came in from Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. Very spacious and comfortable.

There were hicups but they were handled promptly. Communication concerning days & times of yard & pool maintenance needs improvement. The layout and setup of the house was great and all slept comfortable & sound. Very relaxing, private and perfect for kids, Grandkids & Adults. We ate many good meals together Fish boil, Grilling and many more. Grads said it was the best ever!! Thanks for the lovely Family Memories!! Thanks for a memorable vacation.

Totally enjoyed our stay! The house had big rooms for gathering, yet provided spaces to take a break as needed. We were fine with the outdoor access to go from the lower level to the upper level, but glad we knew it in advance. The pool seemed bigger than some we saw at other rentals. We had 8 adults, 4 kids and 2 under 2, and enjoyed every inch of it. Beach access was good. There was space for 4 cars and one golf cart. Owner was responsive and the house was well stocked. Highly recommend it!

The house was clean, well-stocked, and had plenty of room for our party of 10. The location was great, once we figured out the shortcut to the beach!! We enjoyed the pool which was very clean and Randall was responsive and helpful.

Enjoyed our time. Owner super responsive. Kitchen was well stocked. Would appreciate a few more kitchen towels (2 just wasn’t enough) and maybe a dish rag. The Braun coffee pot is tricky and we ended up bringing up the Mr. Coffee machine from the basement because the Braun would overflow all over the counter. It was so great having the pool as an option as the beach was too hot with small children. We adjusted well to not having a inner stairwell but didn’t have much rain. We had the couples with babies on the 2nd and 3rd floors and the rest of us on the ground level. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location and fantastic house, as my daughter said the greatest house ever. Spacious, comfortable, great locale, and quiet area given the number of visitors in the area. Only recommendation is need number to text or call on arrival if problem like key code or wifi login not accurate. Frustrating trying to locate assistance vis website. Thanks, would love to stay again.

House was very clean and kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking utensils. Also, has a whole cabinet full of spices. Bed is very comfortable. Location close to all kinds of things to do. Pool is very clean. There is a small kitchen and living area on the first floor. Second floor has very large kitchen and living area. Only minor drawback is that to get from the lower level to the kitchen/living area on the second floor is by stairs that are on outside of house.
