Enjoy a slice of island life at this gorgeous Padre Island home! Located across the street from the very popular, beachfront Palms Cafe, and just a half-block from the Gulf, this two-level home is the perfect spot for any large group. Offering five bedrooms and an enclosed yard with a pool, this home is situated inthe heart of South Padre, putting guests within easy reach of the many area attractions. Bordered by palm trees, the swimming pool is perfect for refreshing with a dip on warm sunny days.

On the main floor, enter into an open kitchen/living room space tastefully furnished in a contemporary beach theme. New sofas and a large TV are perfect for a movie night and the full kitchen is complemented by ample bar seating and a dining nook. The first bedroom is located just off of the living room and features and en suite bathroom and king bed. Two additional bedrooms are located on this floor, separated by a full bathroom. One features a queen bed while the other features a full and a twin trundle.

The downstairs can be accessed through the kitchen on the main floor or a secondary, exterior entrance. Inside, you'll find a well-equipped, full kitchen with everything you need to prepare all your favorite recipes, a dining table for six - perfect for mealtimes or family game nights, and a cozy and inviting living area with twin sofas and a TV for streaming all your favorite channels.

    There were at least 2 steps on the outdoor stairs that were not secured. I had one plank slide out underneath my foot when I was rushing down with some food. Fortunately I didnt hurt myself, but it was a risk the whole time. There wasn't a lot of amenities and it wasn't super fancy, but it was honestly a great deal for what it is. We were super close to the beach, and that was awesome. Got to take my 98 year old grandpa and cousin who is learning to walk again after 10 years (she just got a prosthetic), and that was worth everything. The location is great.

    A lot of updates need to be done to the downstairs living space. The floors were peeling up and it smelled really strongly of mold so if you're sensitive to mold I would skip this property. The outdoor showers are unusable on the right hand side unless you've got a vice grip and the left side is close to live wires with the shower spray. The pool had an uncovered intake vent that had me nervous with kids swimming in it. The location to the beach was the major selling point for this rental and the only reason we decided to stay even with all the other issues. Its less than a two minute walk, so we spent a lot of time at the beach instead of at the rental. I did like that it's basically setup for two families. We stayed there with myself, my husband, and our two kids in the downstairs while my sister in law her husband and two kids stayed upstairs.

    We had a really good time. The location is great, so close to the beach. The house fit us all comfortable, the pool was really nice and relaxing. The only issue was the moldy smell downstairs area. But overall we enjoyed the stay

    JD Lucio is the absolute best! We had trouble getting in initially due to a wrong door code and he promptly took care of it. He was on call 24-7. Even answered me on his day off and on Father’s Day. His customer service is the reason I will definitely book again with Vacasa!

    This house was in a GREAT location! The corner spot was convenient to a beach access point and it was also close enough to the main road that you could get to establishments around the island quickly. There was very little traffic close to the house. However, we booked this house as a 5 bedroom, with both the upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs was unusable due to a very musty smell that was nauseating- mold, bug spray... awful! If you need more than 3 bedrooms for 6 people, stay somewhere else. If you need a place for less people, with a pool, in a great location, the upstairs might be okay.

    The location was excellent…the house was ok. The pictures were a little deceiving. The pool looked much larger than it was. The home while updated but, with cheaper materials and furniture. Overall not bad but, not great. Pool access was interesting from both units. They really need to add stairs on the backside of the balcony.

    Across the road to the beach and a private pool! It is an older home that shows the love salt air has on one. Little rust on metal surfaces. The home had everything we needed and easily fit all 11 of us. Would rent again!
