We are here to make your stay feel like home - feel free to contact us with any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time in beautiful Northern Michigan!

Long Lake is one of the area's largest all-sports, inland lakes and is located just a few miles south of Traverse City. At nearly 3,000 acres, this spring-fed lake has a service area of 4.5 square miles. It is one of the most popular spots for boating, fishing, and swimming with it's clear water and islands to explore.

Four of the islands (Fox, Long, Picnic, and South Island) are parks open to the public with reasonable use restrictions.

This home is only 7 minutes from the famous Moomers Handmade Ice Cream, where you can tour the farm and try their delicious flavors of ice cream with the family! A short 10 minute drive north-east will find you in downtown Traverse City, with many options for dining, shopping, and downtown beaches.

Local Wineries and Breweries are open year-round if you are looking to grab a beer, a bottle of wine, or try a flight!

Guests have access to the whole home during their stay. Please note the garage is not available for guests use.

All vehicles, boats and trailers must be parked in paved part of the driveway. Street parking is not permitted. Please note that the septic field is in the front yard and parking on it can damage the septic system.

This beautiful, modern home can be found on the private Long Lake Peninsula, just a short walk to the boat launch and shared waterfront access. Enjoy outdoor dining on the spacious deck, that wraps around the home, or spread out to enjoy the fire pit area in the backyard.

Bring your boat with you, or rent from one of the many boat rental companies in the area! We can offer recommendations - feel free to reach out! Please note there is no docking at the shared boat launch/dock. 1 boat is permitted and must be trailered in/out each day.

This is a spacious home with 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. On the main floor are 3 bedrooms: a master with en-suite bathroom featuring a king bed; a comfy bedroom with a queen bed; and cozy bedroom with a twin trundle bed and desk.

Also on the main floor is a living room, and kitchen with bar seating overlooking the deck and backyard.

Downstairs, you'll find a bonus TV room with a large comfortable couch and an electric fireplace, as well as a fourth bedroom with king bed and walk-though full bathroom that connects to the laundry area. Tons of space to spread out!

The home includes all the amenities you’d hope to find to make your vacation feel like a home-away-from-home, such as a coffee maker, SmartTV, cable, WiFi, and including plenty of towels, and linens.

We are here to make your stay feel like home - feel free to contact us with any questions, and we hope you enjoy your time in beautiful Northern Michigan!

The lake access is just down the street at the intersection of Cedar & Outer Drive, about a 10 min walk from the house (turn right out of the driveway). If you have a boat and the launch access is locked, there is a key in the desk organizer on the kitchen peninsula. Please be sure to return the key as there’s a $150 lost key charge that’s charged if we lose that. It’s been open most of the summer so you may not need that at all!

There is no street parking and no parking allowed at the boat launch. There is also no docking overnight since it is a shared dock among the neighborhood. Boat rental companies will drop off at the Long Lake Peninsula launch and then pick-up at the end of the day. If you do a multi-day rental, just ensure they drop-off/pick-up each day as there is no overnight docking.

The house was really nice. No issues there. We did not realize how far away the dock was. It was long walk and the neighbors didn't seem to love us swimming and hanging out there. We won't be back for that reason.

Knot on Call is a very comfortable, relaxing, & clean house in a quiet neighborhood on Long Lake. We enjoyed watching the black squirrels & rabbits in the yard. Easy walk to the lake.

My friends and I all in our 70's, arrived on 1/16/25 to the property. The driveway was not plowed out. the driveway is on a steep incline. we parked as far as we could at the top and engaged the parking brake. we all got out and unloaded the Ram 1500 truck. we went in the house. I left my coat in the back seat, so I went out to get it. I opened the back door to get my coat, and the truck started sliding down the driveway. the force of the truck moving threw me into the snowbank and continued down the driveway. at the bottom of the driveway is a stump about 2 ft. Tall. the truck door hit the stump and buckled the back door and jammed the front door. this was all on the passenger side. I reported this to the property Manages (Beth and Keegan) who got in touch with the property owners who then allowed us to have the code to the garage. they later came and plowed the driveway and salted about 8;30 that eve. I reported the problem to the owner after a struggle getting the info. I submitted a property damage claim to their Insurance and was told they weren't liable because they had had the driveway plowed the day before. It should have been plowed that day before we arrived. I'm currently obtaining a lawyer to sue. I had to submit a claim to my insurance to cover fixing my truck. I had to pay my deductible and my rates will increase. I sent pictures of the driveway and the damage to their insurance co. they said they are not liable. I would not recommend this place.

We stayed here for our annual girls’ weekend in Traverse City and had an excellent time. The accommodations were a huge part of that! We each had our own space, but could be together in very comfortable surroundings. Any questions or concerns were addressed thoroughly and promptly by Beth and Keegan

Our stay was 4 nts with 6 people. The accommodations were perfect in every way. It was close enough to everything and far away enough to feel you were on vacation. The premises were spotless and we wanted for nothing.

We enjoyed this home a lot. Very clean, nice layout and the home was among the best we have experienced as far as having everything you could possibly need for cooking and entertainment purposes. Only wish we had more time there to enjoy things like the nice outdoor space and firepit. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful nature setting. Short drive to Traverse City shopping and tourist areas.
