Spacious getaway w/ chef's kitchen, fireplace, & year-round fun

Spacious house, fun game room, well equipped kitchen, but the overall cleanliness was sloppy. We ended up having to give the couch a deep cleaning just to relax on it.

I would NOT recommend this property or Vacasa. The home was not as advertised and did not meet basic cleanliness or comfort standards.When we arrived, the house was dirty: dishes left out, hair on the floors (we had to vacuum), stained and wrinkled carpet raised several inches (my daughter tripped multiple times), and toys shoved messily into the dresser. My 3&4 year old clean toys better! Guests are asked to start laundry and run the dishwasher at checkout, yet no detergent/pods were provided—we had to run to Safeway for basics (to include napkins, trash bags, etc).Major maintenance issues made the stay uncomfortable: the living room AC leaked so much condensation it soaked into the carpet and created puddles. There were no blinds or window coverings, leaving no privacy. The pool table was broken, with its legs detached and the table unusable—false advertising. The kitchen was heavily worn, and the pans were so damaged the enamel flaked into food.I contacted Vacasa multiple times about these problems, including asking about cleaning supplies, and was told maintenance and even the owners would reach out. No one ever called or emailed, even after a week of waiting.Between the lack of cleanliness, broken amenities, safety issues, and complete lack of communication, this property fell far below standard. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend booking.

Large and clean house

We had a great stay at Big Hill Retreat. We had plenty of room for our family of 6, and we enjoyed getting out the door and walking quickly to playgrounds, rentals, and the main lodges.

Great home for families, close to the golf course, restaurants and spa. The home had everything we needed and was perfect for a weekend getaway.

We loved the layout of the home but were frustrated each time we had to deal with Vacasa. The worst incident was requesting they fix the lights that were out in the oven and the microwave and they sent a repair person out to our place but send the wrong address in VERMONT! How could they be so awful? This in in WASHINGTON, not even the correct state. They also weren't even keeping us aware of the status of things, we had to call them to check what was happening. They also only let us talk to their central Vacasa hotline folks, never anyone local. We couldn't get more towels, we couldnt get early or late checkout. It was all so frustrating that even though we liked the house we'll never stay there again.

I booked this house for a golf trip with some buddies and we were extremely satisfied with our stay! The location was perfect, the inside of the house was very clean, and the garage had plenty of activities (pool table, foosball, pop-a-shot) which was a huge bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and would 100% book again!

This house was perfect for my brother's bday! The downstairs was very big for entertaining and very clean. The garage games are super fun and I also loved that the home had bathrooms in each room. The kitchen was perfect for making a huge meal! Thanks so much! We will be back for sure!

There was a nice porch to sit out on as well as a barbecue for dinners. Our teenagers enjoyed playing pool and foosball. It is in a great location for walks and restaurants in Suncadia.

The bottom floor layout of the house was able to accommodate 25 family members get together as advertised. Great place and will look to return in a couple of years for the next reunion.

The house was large, clean and very cute. It has easy parking and a good location.

Big house accommodated our group well. Would have been nice if it had a private backyard but there is a common area out in front with grass. Cleaning could have been a bit better (stained living room rug/stained washcloth/ cobwebs on dining light) and darkening curtains in the bedrooms but overall we had a nice stay.

This house was perfect for 8 people plus two small children. Room for the children to play, large kitchen and living space, clean, and plenty of bathrooms. Would book again if need arised.

This place was even more perfect than the listing photos. There was so much space for my 6 adults and two toddlers on trip. We will be booking again.
