If you enjoy staying close to everything that Cape Cod has to offer while being tucked away from the crowds, then ''Pond View Serenity'' is the place!

Centrally located on the Mid-Cape, with convenient access to Route 28, this spacious home is close to several ocean beaches, including the popular Craigville Beach (parking pass included!), shopping, restaurants, historic sitesand more. This 3,000-square-foot family home is located on a private cul-de-sac and includes pond access, perfect for the rest and relaxation an escape to the Cape should provide. It's five bedrooms, three full baths, two family rooms and spacious kitchen and dining room can comfortably accommodate two families or extended family.

Here you can enjoy quiet, lazy days in the private backyard, with numerous places to lounge on the expansive deck, grill and dine outside, play games in the yard, or relax by the two fire pits on those cool Cape evenings. Rinse off after a day at the beach in the must-have outdoor shower. We also provide two inflatable tandem kayaks (2 seats each) available to use on the pond. They are inflated on arrival but can be deflated to fit in the car and pumped back up if you choose to use at another Barnstable pond or beach. Adult and child life jackets are also included.

With several ocean beaches nearby, you’re sure to be entertained without having to travel far from the home. Bike or take a short three-minute drive south to Craigville Beach or Covell’s resident beach for miles of beautiful Nantucket Sound. You can grab fresh seafood and other tasty treats at The Barnacle located conveniently across from Craigville Beach. A little farther away by car is beautiful Dowses Beach in Osterville, a wonderful spot for collecting shells where the sand is soft and the beach is lined with beautiful dunes. The stunning sky never looks the same way twice at these beaches, with each visit feeling like you are part of a different nature painting. Note: Beach pass to all of Town of Barnstable's beaches and ponds are provided with the rental. Beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers and sand toys are also provided.

Walk or bike to quaint historic Centerville Village mere minutes away – home of the award-winning Four Seas Ice Cream shop and the 1856 Country Store known for its historic building and penny candy. One of the best local libraries on the Cape is close by, adjacent to a historical museum, places of worship and several historic former sea captains' homes and all the charm staying in a real New England village has to offer. To the west, Cape Cod Package and Spirits Shop is a short five-minute walk, and nearby is Centerville Pie (one of Oprah’s Favorite Things), the Bell Tower Mall with the 99 Restaurant, gas and gift shops.

With quaint Osterville Village a few miles down the road, the unique eateries, bakeries and boutique shopping are sure to not disappoint. Here you can enjoy delicious meals at Wimpy's Seafood Cafe, the Chart Room at Crosby’s for breathtaking waterfront dining and rustic wood-fired pizza and flatbreads at Crisp Restaurant. Treat yourself to gourmet coffee, sandwiches and baked goods from several local eateries. Also in Osterville Village is Armstrong-Kelley Park for picnics, Fancy's Market for groceries and Gone Chocolate for quality ice cream. Alternately, go 10 minutes east to Hyannis for grocery shopping, a Whole Foods, a plethora of fantastic restaurants, bakeries, the marina, whale watching and live entertainment.

With five bedrooms and three baths, there is ample space for everyone. Play board games or read a book by the beautiful stone fireplace in the centrally located family room. Or get cozy and watch a movie after a long day at the beach in the second family room located at the other end of the house. Both family rooms have smart TVs along with 3 of the 5 bedrooms. Second family room has a 55 inch TV, perfect for a family movie night.

The spacious kitchen has plenty of room to prepare meals and comes equipped with all you need, including an air fryer, coffee maker, Keurig and blender. There is room to dine in the kitchen, or in the adjacent dining room for more seating.

On the first level is the master bedroom with a king-sized bed and private bath, shower and tub. Another full bath is located on the first level with shower, along with two additional bedrooms (one full sized bed and one queen sized bed). Upstairs are two more bedrooms (one queen and the other bedroom is equipped with one full and two twins), both very large spacious rooms, perfect for kids to play and sleep. These bedrooms share a full bathroom with shower and tub.

This home offers ample parking for cars in the circular driveway. Enter through the front door or garage to access the stairs in the basement for easy access to the first level.

With all the surf, sand and tourist attractions nearby, ''Pond View Serenity'' is sure to please your entire family.

This home worked well for gathering my family on the Cape. It is more spacious than expected from the photos. The kitchen is quite functional with lots of options and supplies. The convenient location was a good launching point for exploring the Cape.

This house was perfect for a group of retired friends. It was very spacious with large bedrooms and lots of living space. There is great outdoor space as well. The house is located in a lovely neighborhood and nearby to anything we might have wanted. A visit to the Centerville Pie Company and Lambert's Rainbow Fruit are must stops if you find yourself in the area.
The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy meals in.
We all agreed we had an excellent stay and will definitely consider returning.

This house was the perfect size for my family, we particularly enjoyed how spacious the house was, the back porch with fire pit, and the outdoor shower! We really liked having access to the lake along with the use of the kayaks. The beds were very comfortable and I loved having a master bath! The house is very conveniently located, close to downtown Hyannis, Yarmouth & Dennis with every store imaginable within a 10 minute drive. I highly recommend this home!
