Spacious downtown craftsman with private hot tub, & river views

Good location near lots of dining option. Charming town! Nice older house, clean, comfortable beds, nice hot tub. Well equipped kitchen.

We booked this house for our honeymoon and it was awesome!!! Lots of room, great kitchen, and the hot tub was a huge bonus. It would be a perfect house for a family holiday. It is also in a beautiful part of town and Bette's Place down the street has amazing food!

Couldnt find any ping pong paddles so that was momentarily frustrating but we LOVED the house! 6 women stayed for our annual wine trip. Plenty of room, beautiful view of the Columbia, close to everything downtown.

Spacious home within walking distance to town center with a lot of comfortable beds. Just needs a little TLC.Be prepared for steps when entering from the parking space. An older home that could use some updates no real bells and whistles. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans. One 3/4 bath upstairs on bedroom level.Second 3/4 bath is on main floor all bedrooms are upstairs so a large crowd will have to go downstairs through the kitchen to use second bath. 1 hair dryer for the house.Light bulbs were out in 2 bedrooms, we found light bulbs and changed them. If you’re doing laundry, prepare to do it a day before because the dryer takes several cycles on high heat to dry clothing. Possibly needs a good lent pipe cleaning. Patio heater didn’t work and all propane tanks were empty. Pending on what your trip is about: If you’re hiking and just need a bed to sleep in, this is a place for that. Hot tub is older but was a nice treat after a cold rainy hiking day. Walkable to downtown area restaurants and shops. Host was quick to respond when contacted. Overall a comfortable stay and great location!

This house was not cleaned or sanitized enough to stay in. We messaged the host, they did not respond. We called VRBO and they could not get ahold of them so we left and paid for last minute accommodations nearby. The next day we still had not gotten a response. We requested a refund and sent photos and they immediately refused to refund or come clean the house to standards. Since they wouldn’t come inspect the condition of the house, we offered to go take new video and photos for their reference (they told us they couldn’t tell that our photos were of their property) but they said they had made their decision: no refund. One bed had a large wet spot under the comforter thru the sheets and the mattress. Another bed was covered in short dark hairs. The entire house smelled strongly of pet urine.

The facility was well stocked and had things for all ages. We didn't need ac in March. I had sent a couple messages as well as calling prior to my trip, to find out if there was a blender in the rental. I never got an answer- or was told it wasn't provided, then when I got there, they had one in the cupboard. I needlessly packed one and hauled it up those stairs.

Roomy clean space with tons of different rooms to sleep in. Everything was very walkable! Would recommend again.

This house was clean, charming, and had all of the amenities we needed for a girls trip to Hood River. You can’t beat the proximity to all of the downtown shops and restaurants! We will be back for sure!!

House is great. Quirky, older, but totally what we expected. Couldn't figure out how to get all the jets working on the hot tub and had to buy batteries to get Roku to work. Street noise is noticeable but that shouldn't be a real surprise to anyone. We would stay again.All communication were AI, so not much of a personal feeling. Probably could have called to get real person for customer service if needed, but we just dealt with imperfections.

The home was very clean and comfortable as well as well stocked. The hot tub was welcome after a day of shopping and visiting vineyards. We love Hood River and this home is perfectly located for enjoying the restaurants and shops and heading out for hikes or water activities.

Great location - walking fistance to all the shops and restraunts. Has all the accommodations you could need. Lots of space and sleeping options. Would book again!

This house is spacious and the beds are comfortable. It’s not a luxury house but it’s nice. The location is unbeatable for exploring the Hood river area. We loved the ice cream shop down the street and train museum trolley tour that was suggested in the book.

Great four 4 Kiters visiting primarily for kiting and IPA Hot tub, big TV with reclining seats were special after sessions of kiting. House is clean and kitchen is well stocked if cooking in house The only con was we had a real hot day and one bedroom needed more than a simple fan vs a in window AC unit

Great location, good amenities, good communication. Could use some refresh (floors, carpet, etc.).

Hit 5 local waterfalls, relaxed in the hot tub and hit all the shops and bars we could walk to. Perfect house for our mini vacation.

The house was in a great location to walk to dinner and wineries. Hosts were very responsive to all needs. Highly recommend.

We loved the close access to Oak Street and the gorge activities. We liked the kitchen and little views of the water as well as the comfy deck and delightful hot tub. We plan to come again. Thank you for the lovely stay!

House was comfortable and well-equipped. Loved the location - easy walking distance to restaurants and waterfront. We also enjoyed the covered porch.

We loved this funky old house. It had an old fashion layout that we really loved and it was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well updated and stocked with everything you needed. We spent the evenings sitting on the deck, it was great. We did not have time to use the hot tub but it was clean and ready to use. We also liked that it was a short walk to down town Hood River. We would rent this place again.
