Spacious Dog Friendly Home with WiFi and Spectacular Oceanfront View

Liked the closeness to the beach. Wish parking was better.

House was fantastic! Ocean view is awesome. One of the best places I have rented!

We really enjoyed this house and it accommodates our family well even with our two young children and our dog but it only has enough space for 2 parking spots big enough comfortably for 2 suvs or Sedans we had to figure out what to do with our 3rd vehicle each day.

Needs attention to photos that advertised a home with all the photos taken on second floor. Which is not used like first floor. Very sneaky.

It’s hard to find a better spot than this one! I’m pretty picky and search this app a long time for each vacation for the perfect home and this one was just what we were hoping for! The house is beautiful, clean and stocked with everything you could need. A lot of towels which was nice for a rental as well! The view of the ocean seems to go on forever and it’s the perfect location to other close attractions! We will be back to stay at this home again one day, it was the best vacation!

It was just stunning and house was perfect

First, the good: -The view is INSANE-great deck right off the main living space. -there are two self contained living spaces, which would be good for multiple families. -the location is good-far enough away from town to be quiet, close enough to walk or bike to restaurants etc. The not so good: -this house was filthy. Big brown stains all over the couches upstairs and the upstairs rug; curly black hairs in the showers, sheets, and dish towels; white dog hairs on all the furniture. At a beach house you expect sand on the floors, but the flooring was so dirty it turned our white socks brown. The window sills were encrusted in dirt. We’ve been renting on the Oregon Coast for 40+ years and this was the only time we’ve had to change sheets and clean up the house at the beginning of our stay. -amenities were not great-white towels were stained and didn’t smell fresh, toaster was broken (Vacasa did replace that), the fridge wasn’t fully functional. Chipped plates and not enough cutlery. -there is no screen on the sliding door in the main living room-lots of annoying flies! -the downstairs needs a dehumidifier; it smells pretty musty down there. A few other things to consider: there are tons of stairs in this house, so it isn’t the best for people with mobility issues. The beach access is also down uneven, sandy rock steps. If you walk a block to the motel there’s a more even stone staircase with a railing that you can use. It’s a shame this house is so poorly maintained.

Great beach access. Lots of kitchen stuff and LOTS of extra towels, much appreciated. Great location to area attractions and easy walk into town. We would come back for sure.

Salty Shores is a beautiful beachfront home. Amazing views of ocean, beach, sunsets from 2nd floor deck w/ glass railing. Well-stocked Kitchen upstairs & Kitchenette downstairs. New cooking utensils needed & new coffee cups, as most are chipped. No recycling available. Spacious, bright upper living space with awesome views of ocean & beach. Living room sofas are beautiful but sagging & soft. Clean spacious bathrooms. Good supply of toilet paper & toiletries. Some older, thinning musty-smelling towels need replacing. On first evening Thursday, we found downstairs bathtub was not draining. Reported to Vacasa immediately. Took 2 days for worker to come & unclog it. Time to rotate/replace upstairs sagging queen & 2 bunk double mattresses. Family members did not get good sleep. Blackout curtains would be a plus due to bright street lamp. Bunk bed comforters had strong sweaty, musty odor. Need washing or better laundry detergent. Downstairs king bedroom was adequate & comfortable. Used gas BBQ grill a lot & started a bonfire in firepit with wood provided. Beach. Checked out Saturday & within 2.5 hours driving home, realized leaving an item at Salty Shore. Called Vacasa immediately to report it. I then calle Monday -Item was found & turned into local office. Rep says someone will call me. Vacasa states on website they’ll ship lost items. Been 10 days & no call from Vacasa. I called again & Item is still at local office. Still waiting for Vacasa to call back.
