Spacious Coastal Aviara Pool Home, Close To Beach And Several Local Attractions

This was a wonderful home for our family vacation. It has a great outdoor space with lots of activities and lovely pool and whirlpool, the home is well equipped and very comfortable, and the location is great with easy access to main transportation corridors and activities in the area. The host was extremely responsive to any issues and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommended

Wonderful!!

Our family stayed for a 10 day visit for our son's wedding in April. The booking and check-in was very easy with the property manager. All communication on any concerns was excellent.The location in the Aviaria section of Carlsbad cant be any better. It is convenient to the beach, shops, grocery store and much more. We had our grand children stay with us along with another young family member and they just loved the pool, rock slide and play areas on both sides of the house. Plenty of water toys to play with at the property. They had wet suits, boggie and surf boards and beach cruisers that made our stay even more complete.The kitchen area, breakfast nook and family room was where we spent most of our time. Plenty of room and well organized with every pot, pan and dish you may need for your stay.Bedrooms were very comfortable and accommodated our group of 9 easily. Plenty of parking on the property and the kids were safe when playing in the cup-de-sac.The outdoor BBQ and fire pit was excellent and was put to good use many nights. Bring the smores kits with you We had a delightful stay and will definitely book again upon our return to Carlsbad

Backyard was fantastic! We loved the pool, hot tub, multiple tables & fire pits. Everything was taken care of very well. We had a slight issue with the thermostat- but the owner handled it. Kendle was very responsive. Would recommend for a larger family outing! We had two families for a total of 9. Was comfortable and accommodating for all.

Wow, what a place! We were so glad to return for our 3rd year. Writing this review right before booking for year 4. Highlights:-Ledge area of pool allows adults to swim while kids hang in shallow water.-So many fun activities on site.-Proximity to amazing stuff for kids (LEGO Land, beaches, flower fields, windmill food hall, good grocery shopping)

We had a FABULOUS time at this wonderful house. Perfect amount of space for two families and grandparents. The pool and outdoor space is phenomenal. We made great use of the outdoor and pool toys. The kitchen had everything we needed and was fun to cook and eat in! 10 minutes from Legoland, 40 minutes to the Safari Park, and 30 minutes from the airport suited our needs perfectly. We really appreciated the kids toys in the house as well. We hope to return!

We all super enjoyed the hot tub and a couple of our crazy husbands went down the slide! The house accommodated all eight of us nicely. Thank you for everything.

Great entertaining home. Tons of space. Kitchen well equipped. Two large tables to eat and converse at. Backyard was the best with firepit, lounge area, pool was beautiful, family games were played. This property will be one that we revisit.

Kendle was amazing at communicating with me from the start all the way through our trip. The home is awesome and our family of adults and kids from 4 weeks up to 9 years had a great time. So much space inside and a resort backyard! Our trip was in November so we paid to heat the pool and couldn’t keep the kids, and adult kids, out of the water or off the slide. It is a beautiful place to vacation. Never need to leave, although we did walk over to Batquitos Lagoon, went to the beach and to the Dan Diego Zoo, only about 40 minutes South. Don’t hesitate to book for your family trip!

The house is very much as listed. It’s very large and well furnished in a beautiful neighborhood close to the beach, town and Batiquitos Lagoon. The backyard, patio, pool, spa and outdoor kitchen are fantastic. Beautifully designed and maintained with lighting for night time, we spent most of our time out there! We all love to cook and the kitchen is incredibly well stocked with just about anything you might need. There’s also a great gym in the garage and loads of kids toys for inside and the pool/patio. A few maintenance issues indoors, but Kara was responsive and helpful during our stay. Definitely recommended!

the place was excellent the pol was very refreshing the house was amazing we had a few minor problems but wer taken care of immediately from Kara so totally 5 stars

I sent the property manager my complaints. Rash on 2 of us doing the stay. Believe there is something in the property (mold)

Great spaces in this home for groups - esp the backyard pool, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ. Nice sized tables both indoors and outdoors. Nice kitchen space and cooking appliances as well. Enjoyed the home and our visit immensely. Carlsbad beaches and downtown within easy reach.

We returned to Casa Anatra for three weeks this year, having enjoyed a wonderful two week stay in 2022. It was another great holiday. Casa Anatra is spacious, well-equpped and ideally located for visits to the coastal stretch between San Diego and Los Angeles.There were only a few issues. For example, we had to contact the agent because we did not have enough cups or wine glasses for our party of 10: she delivered more the next day. The barbecue burst into flames because the grease tray had not been emptied for a long time. There were other indications that the cleaning/maintenance contractors were not doing a very good job.But, apart from not being able to have BBQs for the last few days, we had a fantastic holiday, and we won't hesitate to come again.

Great house with beautiful yard. We had a lot of fun swimming in the pool. Nice quiet neighborhood.

We loved our stay at this Carlsbad gem. The backyard was incredible with a fun water slide, great pool, and temperature adjustable hot tub. The house had everything we needed and was super clean. We had a blast with our kids. There was a thermostat issue but the owner was very responsive.

We had a great visit to Carlsbad and look forward to our return next year. The house was comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed.

The house is amazing, the backyard a playland. We celebrated my birthday with my adult children The backyard was like a resort for my kids and I. Also, the area had some great restaurants and many things to do….I highly recommend this property

We loved our stay in Carlsbad! A group of our old friends stayed together for a friends wedding in the area and it was so fun for us to all stay together, have plenty of space, and enjoy the jacuzzi in the cool winter evenings. We had lots to do over the weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy many of the amenities but they had fun games, a garage with some workout stuff, a pool with an awesome slide! Was a great place for us to all stay and bond and was very easy to get to all the wedding festivities.

Great experience, were kind enough to give us a later checkout due to our flight getting delayed.

We stayed for four nights over Thanksgiving. The house was spotless, the backyard beautiful, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner. The owners were responsive and so nice. We are hoping to go back again. Highly recommend!!!

Spacious master bedroom/bath. Comfortable rooms and beds. Video games, weights, children's toys/games. Pool and hot were great. Even a pool slide!! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful pool and spa with a location close to all local attractions and the beach. We were in town for a family wedding and enjoyed the property. The pool was cool but swimmable. The hot tub accommodated our group. There was a lot of space in the house.

We came to San Diego to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday; we had a blast! The backyard is a dream!!! Close to the ocean and easy trip to the grocery store for supplies. The rooms we all comfy. We had so much fun and will definitely be back.

Just wow!!! This is the one. Great location just short drive to beach. Super quiet cul de sac. The pool is amazing. The slide is no joke! Kids will love it. Excellent host who was very responsive. This is the one you want in Aviara-Carlsbad.
