Spacious, Clean, Bright Oceanfront Home with Hot Tub Offers Unforgettable Views

House could be updated and things repaired like The front door and screen, stain on bedspread in bedroom upstairs, provide enough dishwasher pods to at least be able to do dishes everyday you are there, we were there 4 days and only had 2 pods had to go buy more just to do the dishes. It is the little things that make the stay better.

Perfect location, comfortable beds, lots of room, and wood for the fireplace.

We had a wonderful stay! Great views and enjoyed this very comfortable BEACHFRONT home! We would love to come back again.

Great property. Perfect beach location and the house really made you feel at home.

Good location

Okay. I polled my husband and adult son and have combined their opinions with my own. The house is in a great location; right on the beach and next to the public access. It was clean, as was the bedding. The main floor furniture could use updating and we never got any of the tvs to work. The wifi is awful. We learned three days ahead of our reservation that the bathroom sink (we later found it was the bath on the main floor) would be out of service during our stay. If asked, we would have worked with the company to allow a plumber in to fix it. We spent 1/2 hour trying to figure out how to work the shower diverter there; special instructions would have been VERY helpful; and that the toilet is too low and takes a full twelve seconds of holding the handle to actually flush the bowl. We got a house so my son could cook, but he had major difficulties because only two of the burners work - and when you turn the working ones off - they don't always actually turn off; a major hazard. Finally, the upstairs storm door is installed improperly. The latch for it is located over the handle to the inside door. Several of my family hurt themselves closing the inside door when we left, including me. I had a deep, bloody gouge in my skin and my underlying tissue has still not recovered two weeks later. That is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Not by me but someone eventually will if not fixed.

Upon arrival, there was a strong, unpleasant odor in the property. The main bathroom toilet was not working and had to be fixed by us. Even after getting it to flush, it leaked from the base the entire stay, requiring us to keep towels on the floor to avoid stepping in water. On top of that, the main shower only provided luke warm water. These issues made the stay extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. We believe a refund is warranted given the condition of the property and the lack of basic functionality.

It was wonderful, no complaints

This is an unfortunate review because the house is in a perfect place, fit all of us, well accommodated kitchen - everything we needed. The owner is doing a really nice job and is being provided a very huge disservice by her managing company Meredith Lodging. I have a rental and use VACASA - rent from places that use them.When I reserved this property I informed them I had a service animal that would be with me. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran and received an email back thanking me for my service and welcoming my animal - perfect.First night we are there we are coming back from a walk on the beach and a man, and his son accost me in the driveway, upset about the breed of my dog - just some rando. He called Meredith Lodging, and they called their private armed security on me and sent me a threatening email about a pet on the property. Once I explained everything to the officer, he and his supervisor gave me their cards, apologized for the violation of my rights, and said they would not be back, regardless of ongoing calls from Meredith.Please beware of this company - I emailed them right after it happened (Monday night) and they have still yet to reply.

Amazing view of the beach

We had a good time staying at this property during the king tides. The location and view were perfect with easy beach access, and it was a short drive to Taft, Boiler Bay, and Depot Bay. The house was a little outdated, but we had everything we needed, and the kids enjoyed the games and hot tub.

A great property in the best location on the Oregon coast

This property was absolutely amazing. Nestled between some cliff properties makes the beach access almost private. Our family came on a busy weekend. The house is very large and accommodating for a gathering. The other reviews about people complaining about access to the beach or outdated items are crazy. It was perfect.
