This stylishly decorated lodging provides ample space for the family, with 3 separate bedrooms, several shared spaces, a functional kitchen, and even a couple of outdoor patios. In addition, it's a few minutes away from parks and shops in downtown St. Charles. The host is very responsive, accommodating, and professional.Check-in was a little confusing until we realized the door to the lodging is around back and up a flight of stairs. Despite obvious measures taken to cool the space during a hot midwestern summer, such as the window AC units and fans, it was a bit warm in the lodging overall. One other thing--the lodging is listed house/entire home in parts of the VRBO description, but it is a top-floor apartment with the main floor occupied by a family with small children. Something to consider if privacy is a concern.Overall, I would recommend this as your home-away-from-home if you're visiting Chicagoland.
