Spacious Chesapeake Home w/ Pool Table!

Place was great lots of room. Sleeps 8. Suggest that host gets a bigger dining table. Only sat four people and enough dishes for 8 place setting.

The house was spacious with large rooms, nice parking, nice view but the decor felt basic, non-cohesive and lacked warmth. Despite initial cleaning challenges, including a surprising amount of dust, we made do with the space. We brought our own microfiber cloths to clean the floors and furniture. The showers required deep cleaning due to mold under the anti-slip mats, the host responded quickly and arranged for clean alternatives. Host was always very quick to respond and accomodating. Strict on no extra people in the house but rules are rules. We arrived and were met by the property coordinator who was very nice, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is big and located on a cul-de-sac with a view of the lake and lake access. Everything was as described - the beds were king, queens and double and were very comfortable. The 3 full bathrooms had plenty of towels and “hot water” in the tubs and showers. There was no intrusion or pressure from the property coordinator when it was time for check-out. And we left the place just as it was when we arrived. There’s a cleaning fee when you reserve, so we didn’t have to clean in that regard.

Great stay! Large house, quiet, nice location. Kitchen had basic amenities, beds were clean, communication and response to needs were excellent. Pool table was fun, ease of check-in was excellent.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay in this clean and comfortable house. We had 7 family members and the bed arrangements were ample and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had a couple of minor problems arise and Duraid, the owner, was prompt in fixing them, and checked back later to make sure everything was OK. The house has a nice view of the river, and is close to plenty of shopping and restaurants.

Overall it was a good place to stay. The host was always available and close by. I would stay again but maybe with someone else. This property is great for most, but not very accessible. My parents had no issues inside but the outside steps could use a railing. We are tv people who do not usually watch the same things so not having tvs in every room was a bummer. Also, additional ceiling fans in the bedrooms would improve the air flow and use less air conditioning. All of the windows are great for lighting and air.Three full bathrooms is a plus. I would put grab bars in especially in the downstairs one. It was clean and the washer dryer was great. We did enjoy our stay.

On business in Norfolk. This house was great. Everything available, even washing detergent and iron were provided for us. The house was very clean. Enjoyed the pool table! Location is great. Everyone loved the property.

We stayed at this property while on vacation in Virginia Beach. The house is very spacious, out of this world views of the Elizabeth River. We spend very relaxing time on the pier. The house is extremely clean and very comfortable, everything was thoufght of. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will come back!

We booked this home as a joint rental for our students and family to stay in for a weekend Jiu Jitsu tournament and mini vaca. Decor was quite outdated and some basic necessities like a bread toaster and enough silverware/plates/bowls for a home that should house 10+ was not available. One of the ceiling fans was wobbly and master bedroom DVD player? Made a weird noise all night. We had to unplug it. Overall this home needed much upgrades and was not what we expected. We had enough space but was not comfy. This home has some opportunities.
