Spacious Beach Home for the Whole Fam, Steps from the Sand by Tybee Cottages

We had a great weekend trip to Tybee with our family and friends. 10 stayed all comfy and with the right personal and sleeping space. Tons of together hanging out space inside and out and right at the beach. Would recommend to anyone and would stay here again!

The home was an ideal location for our stay. We enjoyed lots of beach time, time relaxing on the lovely screened-in porch, and afternoons exploring Savannah's history.

Walking distance from the beach, shops, restaurant and anything you need on Tybee. Clean. Easy check in and out. Friendly staff. We had everything we needed and then some...even beach equipment. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Suppose to be 5 bedrooms and was 4 bedrooms . The downstairs living room does have a bunk bed but wasn’t appropriate set up . We did call to make sure that living room was not attached to bunk beds room and they said it was not but it was. Everything was filthy. Cabinets in kitchen unorganized and drawers filthy. Oven was disgusting. Ceiling fans had layers of black dust in them. Floors had not been swept when we came in and bathrooms lightly touched. Beach supplies ( very few) were rusty and way not useable. Garage had so much sand. Furniture on deck /porch was filthy, tables chairs out there covered in dust and dirt and floor on porch hadn’t been mopped in awhile. Dirty,Dirty,Dirty. Will not rent from them again or Tybee Cottages for not addressing it.

This house has the easiest access to the beach. It makes for an awesome beach trip. The porch is also dreamy, great for family hangs.

Beds very comfortable and linens very nice. It's a charming house. But property needs some updating and deep cleaning...esp. the downstairs and porch. The location was outstanding!

This property met all of our needs and is an ideal location for a beach vacation. The large screened porch is a plus. The home is well stocked and outfitted for the frequent beach visits. Highly recommended!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this house! Management was kind enough to let us have a later check out, since our flight was not until evening. It is an older home, however, so it has older home maladies like slow drains and a musty basement. My only complaints are that the beach towels and toys that were there last year were not there this year, so we had to scramble for those. Beach chairs and coolers were available for use, as was a cart with which to haul it all to the beach. We would recommend this place, primarily for its proximity to the beach and that fabulous screened porch from which the ocean can be seen. We had a rainy week, so we spent much time on the porch.
