Spacious 5-bedroom Lakefront View Home

Great property in perfect location

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. Even though I live locally, I was searching for a nearby property to host several women we had coming in for a conference (and to stay there with them). None of us had ever stayed somewhere overnight together and I wanted to be sure they all had plenty of space and could relax, work, or fellowship as they desired. I now believe there couldn’t have been a better property for us to stay at. First, the pictures don’t do it justice, at least in our opinion. This place is like a 5 star resort, and the owners have gone way above the average host to think of everything and provide MANY luxury extras. The house is extremely clean, and everything is in perfect working order. The rooms are VERY spacious and the beds are comfortable and luxurious. The bathrooms are fabulous and several of us remarked how wonderful the shower was (in the various bathrooms). There were extras everywhere to show how much thought the owners had put into providing an EXPERIENCE and not just a property. I had a couple of questions during our stay and they answered immediately and were so helpful and friendly every time, even with the simplest of questions. Communication even before our stay was the same way. The property has such a serene feel to it and the setting is honestly breathtaking, day or evening. What a spectacular find this place is! Wait till you see the view at sunset or at night with the lights reflecting off the lake. And the mist coming off the lake in the morning!

The home was very spacious and clean and had very nice outdoor areas and beautiful views. We appreciated the home’s proximity to many of the areas wineries and breweries.The host was prompt with replies to our questions before and during our stay.We definitely felt at home in this home!

Immaculately clean, large, well-stocked property in a very convenient location to Purcellville. Woke up to a gorgeous sunrise with a view of two misty ponds.

Lovely home with all the amenities we would want. Fantastic media room and simply spacious throughout. Deb was terrific and very helpful with our questions. Fridge was stocked with lots of drinks and we had a wonderful time exploring nearby vineyards and Loudon County.

This was one of the only properties that was large enough to accommodate our group, and it absolutely did not disappoint. We were saying “wow” before we even got halfway up the driveway. The view from the house was beautiful, and the house itself was immaculate. Our contact for the house was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.

A few friends and I rented this house as a homebase while we attended an event and took some time off. The house is in great condition and well appointed for all your needs while visiting. It is quite spacious and allowed us to be together and still have space and privacy. I used the office space with the lake view to get some work done while others relaxed and watched movies (The home theater is a fantastic bonus). We were surprised by the number of breweries and spots to eat - you can spend a few days disconnecting from the world and enjoy all the area has to offer. But the grand winner is the sunset view on the (very spacious) back patio – I cannot recommend it enough!

My husband and I booked a weekend trip with a group of friends, and all wished we stayed another day or two! The views in the house were stunning… truly breathtaking to wake up to. I honestly would be content grabbing a book from the office library and taking it in with the scenery all weekend. There were so many places I wanted to have my morning cup of coffee! Aside from the views, the house itself was beautiful! The drive in from Maryland was scenic through Route 28 to the Berlin Turnpike (great way to avoid tolls). The rooms and bathrooms were well kept, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. The bathrooms conveniently had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a blow dryer. Our friends agreed the beds were comfortable and we all appreciated having a luggage rack in each room. Convenient to the house were a few wineries. Stone Tower, Green Hill and Blue Ridge were worth seeing but having the Walsh Family Winery just 5 minutes up the street was a a charming and pleasant treat! We enjoyed Bia Kitchen, Magnolias, West End Bar & Pub, Monks BBQ and Tipped Cow Creamery, which were all within an 8-minute drive. There’re apparently some great brick oven pizza places, which we’ll bookmark for next time. The fall must be gorgeous at Wynnwood, we’re already trying to coordinate schedules to come back! Hands down, one of the best stays I’ve ever had at a rental!
