Spacious 5-bedroom house with WiFi, AC in charming Lafitte

Very welcoming, house was great for our family.

Very cool place! Great area close to restaurants and grocery stores, kids loved the pool table and walking trail behind the house.

Heidi and Doyle were a joy to work with. They're the true true definition of southern hospitality. Quick to answer any questions we had and available if we needed throughout our stay. We had our 3 year old with us and Heidi had hid rubber duckies for her to find in the house which she LOVED. There is an awesome nugget ice maker in the house which was great for drinks.All the rooms were clean and big! The home has a beautiful backyard which makes for some great photos at night and during the day.We came on a holiday so most eating places were closed but there is a cute little grocery store super close to the house that had everything we needed to make dinner and get some drinks. It's about 25min drive from New orleans which makes a great trip to enjoy the city but also get away fromit at night. overall great trip and an awesome stay. Would highly recommend it for big groups. You can't beat the price for something that big and close to new orleans.

We will definitely stay with this owner again. They in touch with us the entire time. House is clean, neighborhood is quiet, and it's very close to the fishing guides at Rojas Charters.

The property was awesome we had a good time close to everything.

Southern Hospitality is real. The property was great but the hosts were even better. They lived in the neighborhood and came by to fry up some fresh southern foods. Soft shell crab, catfish and shrimp as well as an authentic crab boil with crab fresh off the boat. The accomodations were excellent, juke box had all the songs we looked for, pool table was well kept. They even lent us some fishing poles and tackle, caught some crappie and bass right off the dock. There is also a nature trail right behind the property that is very well maintained and picturesque got to see some gators up close.This will be the only place I stay anytime we head down to the bayou!!

This home was perfect for our group of 10 coming down for Mardi Gras. The huge kitchen and great room were perfect places to gather and plenty of beds and baths for everyone. It also has an outside pavilion and great greenspace with walking trail accessible from the house. 20 minute easy drive into New Orleans to catch all the Mardi Gras festivities. Our hosts went above and beyond, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had such an amazing time, we’re already booking for next year!
