Beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 bath home located minutes from Red Rocks Amphitheater, 25 mins to downtown Denver, and very close to the mountains and ski resorts. All hardwood floors on main level. Patio area out back. Located in quiet neighborhood.
We had a great experience! Beautiful home! The downstairs gave our younger generation to enjoy watching movies and games! Great neighborhood The host responded to our questions A great host and a great place for family time
The home was exactly as advertised, was comfortable and accommodating and met all of our needs.
This house has a bit of deferred maintenance, but was overall a good experience. We were six adults and three children. The children and their parents were given the run of the basement’s two bedrooms, bathroom and living area, while the other adults were in the upstairs bedrooms and living area. The kitchen is a well-stocked, and it was easy to prepare and serve food. The back deck is a wonderful area to retreat to in the morning and evening. One problem was the sticker bushes in the back yard which made playing there for the kids impossible. With three living areas, there is always a place for our introverts to escape into. The furniture downstairs is a bit older, and there were some staples sticking out that we had to watch for. Also, the washing machine developed a leak while we were there, but the owner is now aware of it. Overall, this was a great base for our entire family clan.
As advertised. Very spacious and well suited for multiple families. Two large entertainment areas so you can divide up kids and adults as needed.
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and fit our needs perfectly!! The host responded immediately to our questions. We enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving with family!!
Here’s the awesome part….we had plenty of room for four couples and a few singles. You really can’t beat the amount of comfortable space. Place was stocked with essentials. What could make it better? A few small investments will go along way. Property needs upkeep. The patio is unkept with broken chair pads or no pads at all. Seriously, buy a few chairs and clean the grill. Overall the outside is neglected and I really wanted us to enjoy that space. Temp control in the house was difficult. We just couldn’t figure out the multiple thermostats. A card with directions on which to use would help. Both the heat and air were on when we got there and the temps kept competing leaving the bedrooms sweltering hot and the rest of the house freezing. We should’ve contacted the host bc he was nice but we were gone most of the days and kept thinking we got it right when we got home at night, but we didn’t. It’s hard to find an affordable place that can fit 10 adults. Although there’s room for improvement, it served us well and we were happy with our stay.
We had a good time in this house on a quiet street. After reading past reviews and seeing the forecasted heat wave, I was worried about staying cool - but the cooling system worked great! The house was very comfortable inside even when it was 100 degrees outside. We enjoyed time on the covered deck and porch even in the record-breaking heat. It was a short drive to Morrison and Red Rocks, and with lots of near-by shopping and restaurants we had no trouble finding things to do besides the concert for which we made the trip. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed - even coffee filters were provided.
The house was great, exactly as pictured. Very clean. I have a few questions when we arrived, and the host was very responsive and nice. I would recommend this house, and would even stay there again myself.
House worked well for our family reunion with 6 adults and 2 dogs. Backyard has no grass in keeping with arid climate. Communication with Justin was easy and pleasant. Well-equipped kitchen for our simple needs. Would stay again.
First, the neighborhood is teeming with families & kids. We felt very safe taking walks & in general. First, I had a learning experience re A/C. Apparently, this house does NOT have A/C. It has a cooling system. When you close your bedroom door there is no air circulation. There are 2 vents in the upstairs hallway ceiling that shoots out cold air to spread to the house & basement. That is the ONLY source of cooling! At night, if you close your door there is NO air circulation; it will is hot & stuffy overnight because no cold air comes out of the vents. When we arrived. The 'cooling system' had been turned off for a couple days due to lack of renters. It was 87 degrees in the house. We were very uncomfortable and it ruined our first day at the house as we felt heat sickness. We spoke and texted with the manager who was responsive but could not help. The temp in the house was unacceptable for 24 hours. This is a VERY old house with NO AC. Be advised. There is a trashy, eye-sore boat on the side of the house that looks like it is from the 70s, just rotting and gathering leaves. There is a wooden shack in the back yard about ready to collapse. The weeds in the back yard are 4 ft tall. But those things didn't ruin our stay. The showers were ok. They have shower heads where the only strong stream is in the middle. The shower in the basement is OK for short people, but if you are 6 ft you have to squat down to rinse your hair. The towels are thin, ragged and super old. The towels in the basement shower had actual paint stains and/or were literally shredded. The downstairs sheets, which were supposed to be laundered, didnt small fresh and had lots and lots of hair, so we had to strip all the beds and wash the sheets. The basement rug is ancient. I am guessing maybe from the 70s. The basement ceiling tiles are removed and there are holes in the walls, and broken glass bottles and trash in the window wells, which is all you can see from the basement windows. The kitchen is remodeled and functional. Although they had no glasses, so had to buy solo cups. The silverware was dirty. I had to put all the plates & silverware through the dishwasher. They supplied an old dish sponge which also had to be run through the dishwasher. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are OK for kids as the beds are tiny. The master, which is upstairs, was sufficient. There is a for sale sign out front and it seems like it needs a lot of cleanup to match the neighborhood standards.
Plenty of space in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Red Rocks and mountains. The ptoperty is up for sale and some aspects showed neglect like the back yard. But kitchen was stocked and plenty of rooms for our family. Sure beat pushing for three hotel rooms.
Very nice. NIce neighborhood and nicer than my sisters more expensive place. Owner very responsive.
Great place to stay, especially if you have a dog -- miles of paved paths to walk on.
