Overall it was good. The biggest issue was that the house was hot the entire time we were there. Even with both ac units running.it never got below 73Also additional seating in the living room would have been nice.

We’ve been to Gettysburg on this weekend the last 6 years. This was by far the best place we have stayed. We felt very welcome. Fresh farm eggs in the fridge were amazing. Air conditioning was amazing. Good hot water and good water pressure. Front porch relaxing was top notch. And I’ve never been more impressed with a coffee pot. Thank you so much.

We have been staying for a week at the beginning of the summer for the last three years and have always had a wonderful time! The house is set up nicely for a family with kids and the fenced in back years is great! Paul and Lisa are so kind and thoughtful!

We used the house as a home base as we were in town for a wedding. The house was clean. It was easy to get into. It is very spacious. Paul and Lisa were very accommodating and quick to address a minor issue. We intend to return when we can spend more around Gettysburg. We would definitely recommend!

LOCATION: We had fantastic weather during our stay, which made walking to shops and restaurants doable and pleasant. We spent only evenings and mornings here. It's nice not having to drive into Gettysburg and have to try to park with all the traffic. Even though it's close traffic is less here. It's uphill so when you're tired after a busy day just know you'll be walking up the slight grade to return. KITCHEN / PROVISIONS: Bring tissues, foil, and plastic wrap because none are provided. However, fresh eggs were in the fridge and fresh roasted coffee is provided as well. BEDROOMS: There is one very good sized room and three small. We took one of the smaller and the bedside lamp didn't want to stay on. Our mattress wasn't comfortable for us. It seems to have a low spot in the center which caused back pain for us. The couple with the big bedroom said theirs was great. The couple in the smallest room said their mattress was uncomfortable too. No one slept in the small bed in the fourth bedroom. GATHERINGS: There is a wonderful, private backyard and picnic table. The front porch is very nice as well - great spot for morning coffee. It seemed like ghost walks went by pretty regularly at night. A negative is the lack of enough comfortable seating in the living room. There is really just the couch facing the TV. AMENITIES: The WI-FI didn't work, we turned off wi-fi on our phones and used only cellular. The TV in the back bedroom also would not connect.

The house is very old. The kitchen has been updated. There was plenty of space and 4 bedrooms with nice furnishings. The porch was a nice place to sit and have a drink, there is a lot of traffic though. Two bathrooms, however one is downstairs off the dining room and small. I had an eerie feeling the first 2 nights and could not sleep. After leaving I looked the house up online and found that it may be haunted by up to 16 ghosts.

Property was clean, spacious And well maintained. We only stayed three nights, but its location was perfect to get to everything. Four bedrooms upstairs with a full bath offer everything you could need for four or even six adults. There was also a bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower. Large spacious kitchen With good appliances to cook in – even an instant pot. There was also an adjacent room off the kitchen that you could use for food prep and also had many, many board games that you could play around the table in the dining room. If we come back to Gettysburg, we would stay there again.

This place is amazing, the house is beautiful, the location is great, the owners are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you are taking a trip to Gettysburg. You can walk into town easily, but is it off the main roads. The historical battlefields are very close. The property is set up very well with all kinds of activities if you need them, it even has a large fenced in backyard.

Perfect vacation spot for those wanting to be near downtown. Given the heat when we visited, we chose to drive most places but was a very quick trip, less than 5 minutes to everywhere. The house was very clean and owners stayed in contact to make sure we had everything we needed (although we didn't need anything.) Extremely easy process to check in and out, and would stay there again.
