Spacious 4-bed home just 2 miles to ND

Not very comfortable

Great ranch style home in a neighborhood. Worked well for us - only wish there was more than 1 bathroom because we had 9 people there for two days. Host was very fast at communication and great to work with!

Most important to me is communication. Brian was easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions. Made to stay very easy.I can see why this property would be very good for a Notre Dame football weekend!

Host was welcoming and communicated well. However, the house was not cleaned very well and needed attention. Broken glass in the front sidewalk. Lampost was ripped out of the ground and lay destroyed in the front yard. I seriously thought the house had been vandalized. House was ok but the furniture and rugs were not clean and were worn out. Overall, I was disappointed.

Yes it was crazy weather and they sent maintenance to clear the driveway and walkway around the house very helpful

Easy stay

This home is located in quite neighborhood and close to campus. Short drive to the football game and close to lots of great eating establishments.

House was dirty and superficial clean at best. There were spills in the refrigerator, bits of food in the cupboards, hair in the shower, trash under/behind furniture, and a general coating of dust and grime on surfaces not at eye-level. The vents and floorboards were especially disgusting and hadn't been cleaned in years. Cabinets, doors, and the wall trim were bad shape & dirty. Beds were made and clean towels provided, but the hand soap in the bathroom was out when we arrived. Shower amenities provided all very heavy fragranced for men (old spice etc). The kitchen was not stocked as pictured for coffee etc, and the home appeared to be in general disrepair with possible mold/water issues--mold in the shower wall and under kitchen sink rotten cupboard. Safety issues-kitch tile broken and sharp, bedroom windows painted shut. Beds for 9 w/ dirty mattresses in hall for other 5? 1-2 air fresheners in every room, totally overwhelming and makes you wonder what odors they are covering up. The exterior did not appear to be well maintained with broken concrete and overgrown weeds etc. No deadbolt to the front only the touch pad lock which could not be locked/secured from the inside. I can only add 8 photos at a time, which is not enough to describe the cleanliness and disrepair issues at this house. College guys must have been the only one staying here rating a 9/10, because I would give it a 3/10. Stay in a hotel for cleanliness, safety, and exposure to respiratory hazard.

The property has a leaky roof over the one king bed in the house which made it unusable for our stay.The owner denies the roof leaks and will not refund us nor fix the roof. Would not recommend staying here

The house was as advertised and worked well for our stay.

This was a beautiful home with great gathering spaces. Everyone in our party slept well on super comfy beds. We were able to connect to the Wi-Fi easily. The common rooms had space for the whole family and then some. Washer and dryer are available, though we didn't use them. There were even some games in the front closet in you need any. Very happy with this place to stay for our family reunion!

Fine place to stay if all you need is somewhere to sleep. Not a good setting for hanging out and spending time as a group indoors.

It was clean and spacious

We only stayed one night. The house was clean and served us fine. My only complaint would be some of the neighbors. They were setting off fireworks til 1am. It was the end of May. No one in our group was expecting that. No complaints with the house itself though.

Worked great

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old daughter and it was perfect. The home was extremely spacious and so was the yard. The decor was minimum which is ideal if you have kiddos traveling with you. All of the bedrooms and living room had smart TV’s, beds were comfy and host was easy to contact and quick to respond. Definitely recommend.

We were in town for a concert at the Morris and this was the perfect spot for our crew to crash afterwards. Short uber ride downtown. Very spacious with plenty of beds. If you have a large group the 1 bathroom might not be ideal but it worked great for our group of 4.

Was a great place for our family to stay while traveling to south bend! Our only complaint was the rooms near the furnace got very warm at night

The property was cute and had a lot of space for my friends and I to stay for a weekend. Had a few maintenance issues with the house but host was very responsive.

House was as advertised

This house served our needs for a one night stay in South Bend. House was clean with a nicely stocked kitchen. It had plenty of towels and the bedrooms had black-out curtains, which we liked (in one bedroom the curtains were a bit small for the windows). The one bathroom was small but with only a one night stay, it worked fine for the 6 of us. My only wish is that there had more places to sit in the living room. But again, with just a one night stay (and we were not at the house very much) it was fine. It's a no-frills house but I would stay here again. Location to ND's campus was excellent!

Our stay was great. The weather was very cold, with negative temps for all three days but the rental was prepped and ready. Sidewalk shoveled and salted, the heat going, and plenty of blankets on the comfortable beds. I greatly appreciate it when a rental is coffee-ready, good amount of coffee and good-sized coffee pot. I hate waking up in a rental and having to go get coffee because of no coffee or no working coffee pot. Sometimes little things are big things and being coffee ready is BIG to me. We will use this rental regularly for our trips to SB. Go Irish!

The property met our needs. My only issue was how dirty the rugs were. We had a baby crawling around and her outfits were dirty after crawling around.

Had a great time with family at our stay. The place was clean and was perfect for us- it sure beat a hotel room for sure! Just needs more silverware! 😀

The location was close to campus. The place smelled a little like animals and the garbage can was overflowing out front in the driveway. The listing said there was 4 bedrooms and a studio with two queens, but they wasn’t the case; it’s just 4 bedrooms. Overall, we didn’t spend a lot of time there, so it was a good place for sleeping. Having only one bathroom was a challenge with 10 people, but we knew that going into it. The host was quick to respond and super simple to work with.

Nice, quiet space

Great place for a weekend stay close to campus. Roomy house in a nice safe neighborhood. House was exactly as described. Plenty of towels and a decent kitchen for breakfast. Would stay here again!!

Besides the carpet and couches being dirty and having dog hair everywhere. It was a decent place I would book again. And they get the backdoor fixed. Overall it was nice.

We were in the house only to unwind in the evening and to sleep. It was nice enough for us and was convenient to the Notre Dame campus, which was the focus of our visit. The filters above the oven are filthy (smelly, even) and need to be cleaned. Oddly, we heard a bird chirping somewhere in the house one evening but could find nothing. Otherwise, the place met our needs.

The host was very responsive and allowed us to check in early to get changed for a wedding, which we were very grateful. Upon entering the house a strong smell of cat urine and mold, we changed rather quickly and left. Some of the beds had stains on them. Since we did arrive early we understood it would not be fully cleaned, the housekeeper did tell us she was finished with the bedrooms though. We did not stay at the house due to the smell. The front yard is all overgrown and unwelcoming. Very quiet neighborhood and close to where we needed to go. Wish we could have stayed since we paid for it and live 2 hours away, but the smell was so horrendous we decided to drive home.

This property was a mixed bag. It was not fully cleaned, and was sparsely furnished. The landlord was very communicative but did not follow through on his promises. We encountered the following dirty items: -Urine and hair on the toilet -Water and soap splatters on the mirror -Hairs and dust on both the bathroom sink and in the shower -A half full glass of old stagnant mirror on a window sill -The floor was not swept, and was covered in cat or dog hair that made our socks filthy -The sheets on two of the beds were not clean. Upon raising these issues with the landlord he promised to refund us half the cleaning fee. Later when I followed up with him regarding this he stated that I had not left him a 5 star review. When I communicated to him that my understanding was that the refund was to compensate me for providing substandard accommodations not for a five star review he terminated communications with me. The above issues aside, my friends and I did enjoy our stay here. The dining room was very large, with a good sized table perfect for chatting and board games. It was nice that we were each able to have our own beds, though the 1 bathroom was bit rough. The neighborhood is exclusively residential and was very quiet at all hours. We were there 2 nights and did not see any of the neighbors. The location was very convenient for visiting Notre Dame, the South Bend farmer's market and for shopping.

Very roomy....nice that all of us could have our own bed and room. Temperature of house was perfect. Enjoyed the overnight stay!
