Spacious 3 BR House Near White Oaks Mall / Victoria Hospital W Free Parking

Great little area close to all amenities. House could use a few more creature comforts in the kitchen. Other than that bad great stay

I stayed at the house with my son and a friend and her son. We were only there for one night but expected to be able to easily prepare dinner and breakfast for our kids who were attending a competitive sports event. There were no glasses , barely any plates, no knives for preparing food, no tea/ coffee , no dish towels, etc. there were only 3 towels for 4 people. There was a lingering odour of stale smoke and the bathroom was not clean at all. Thank goodness the sheets were clean. The host was very quick to respond to my questions before we arrived and seemed nice so I feel bad writing this but we were very disappointed in the state of the place and how poorly outfitted it was.

Good location but very poorly managed property. Firstly, checking in was a serious issue. Per the regulations on vrbo the details were to be provided three days in advance. Even after reminding the owner a day earlier, I arrived at the property without receiving the details and was unable to access the house. Contacting vrbo customer service was no help. After waiting outside for over an hour, I finally reached the owner who told me he was at work . All he needed to have done earlier was sending me the code to the box to access the key. A process that should last one minute, but he didn't. Secondly, the house was not properly cleaned. We had to practically clean the house and wash all the bed sheets. All the beds in the three rooms are practically not usable. We were very afraid of it collapsing in our sleep. It is the worst I have seen. Shower head not working properly for a house with just one shower. Thirdly, almost no utensils. There were no glasses. We had to shop these things ourselves. Just to get the internet details took another several hours. Basic things like this that should be printed and left at the apartment. Like I said, good location but extremely poorly managed. I don't know how it managed to pass the listing criteria.

This property was very spacious, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. A few extra amenities would be great (like bathroom and kitchen towels and coffee maker). Great place for a great price.
