PLEASE NOTE: This home may be equipped with outdoor surveillance cameras and electric bear fencing that are utilized for security and bear activity in the area. These cameras in no way infringe upon guests' privacy, and monitor exterior portions of the home exclusively. The road to the home requires 4WD & snow tires in the winter months. Decks and BBQ grills may NOT be available during winter months, exterior areas may be icy. This home is not equipped with AC. Per Placer County Short term rental laws, quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am, and no street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers. We recommend purchasing 3rd party trip insurance if you have concerns about canceling your reservation.

Cancellation Policy / Cancellation fee: If cancellation is made more than 60 days of arrival, the 4% booking fee will be applied.
If the cancellation is made within 60 (or less) days of arrival, the entire rent will be retained unless Wells and Bennett Realtors is able to re-rent the specified property.
If the property is re-rented, a cancellation fee of $100 plus the 4% booking fee will still apply, but the remainder of rent will be refunded after the replacement guests have checked out.

    Property was perfect for our group of nine. The separate apartment was great for providing a little quiet space when needed. Location is lovely. The back deck was a great place to hang out with a drink and enjoy the lovely cool evenings. Our only recommendation is that you might want to check with the owner/management about the status of construction on the house next door. No work took place over the weekend, which was great, but come 7:30 am Monday morning, the tranquility was interrupted by the sounds of a Bobcat tractor and all manner of power tools that continued throughout the workday. This made hanging out at the house less enjoyable. The neighbor’s house appears to have been under construction for a while, so it would have been nice to have been alerted to the issue before we booked. (July 2022) Otherwise great property and we’d book again.

    We have a great experience overall. Everyone from the property management company was easy to work with and very communicative. It was a little bit of a pain to have to go grab the keys from a separate place but not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We would definitely go back again.

    This house was perfect for my sister and our adult kids. Kitchen is very well equipped, furnishings are comfortable, bathrooms are nice and updated. Bedrooms are roomy, and the suite above the garage is not only beautiful, but is a nice, quiet retreat away from the main house. Huge fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Our only regret is we didn't utilize the firepit in the backyard! Property is conveniently located between Kings Beach and Tahoe City, and is super close to Garwoods, our favorite, and Patton Beach, a dog friendly beach. We rent quite a bit in Tahoe and this will definitely be our new go to property!

    This home was the perfect size for our group of 11. Clean and well stocked. Great back deck with huge table and cozy fire pit area. The newer apartment over the garage was a great escape. Only complaint would be the lack of window screens and poorly installed screens on several windows in the main house. Made it challenging to cool off the home in the evenings. Abundant beach chairs, umbrellas etc for trips down at the lake. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

    Our experience exceeded our expectations. We had plenty of room for the kids to enjoy the house and the huge back yard. The property is located in a very nice neighborhood. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

    This house is centrally located near several areas we wanted to visit, including Tahoe City, Kings Beach and Incline Village. It’s far enough away from the main road that you don’t hear traffic when you’re enjoying family time around the beautiful fire pit or having dinner on the patio deck. The deck could use a bit more lighting for late night dinners but a few candles were a bit helpful. The guest house is quite impressive. It allowed two adults to get away from the younger kids when they got loud. The main house was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. Everyone had their own room and their own TV. The house is very close to some awesome mountain biking trails. Honestly, on a future family trip I would absolutely consider this house again if it was available.
