Spacious 2/2 - ON the Cypress Creek with private hot tub!

Beautiful views and very quiet. The property could use some quick fixes to make it perfect (fixing and painting some things). The shower in the room to the right does smell like septic tank. My partner and I enjoyed our stay.

Property around the house is beautiful. We sat by the creek and saw deer and red birds. House layout is perfect for two couples on a weekend trip to Wimberly and the surrounding wineries. We had an initial issue of no water. Our text was answered in a couple of minutes and they told us where to check for closed valves. Filter valves were accidentally left closed. Easy fix. Plan to return next time in Wimberly.

Liked wifi, updated inside, excellent refrigerated air, comfortable bedding/linens, & hot tub. Disliked the exterior it needed updates. Front steps have jagged broken down edges, back prch screen was ripped/torn, had ants around outside sink. Back walkway was steep, uneven. Inside a few minor details overlooked lightbulb out in living rm, older smelly pipes when using shower or sinks, guest bathroom showerhead clogged, main bathroom shower ceiling peeling/danaged, a loose tile on floor, and a few missing knobs. Inside clean and updated but outside very wirn down.

They really need to replace the front lock system. It is scary when you can't open the door! One of the bedside lamps in a master's bedroom is dangerous ...need a new one. The electrical stem wobbles letting the light hit the lamp shade.

We had a wonderful stay at Chili Pepper Falls. The home and hot tub, are wonderful. However, this property does not have much access to the stream /creek. Swimming was not possible and fishing was very limited. We were able to fish at 50 Marine circle (5 min drive away). All in all, we had a great time.

I would NOT stay here! Hair on the shower wall, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, dust everywhere! I told them about the hair hoping they would voluntary clean but NOPE - I had to ask them to clean it. The bedroom closet was full of junk and no place to hang my clothes. When arriving, I went to the wrong house and entered using the same code as our house - security breach!!!! Book at your own risk

Water smelled awful, hard to brush your teeth or feel like you wouldn’t smell like that after showering. Rest of the house was ok

The property is private, quiet (unless there is a wedding at the Messina Inn), and wonderfully close to downtown Wimberly. It's an incredible value so long as you keep in mind that it has well water and there will be an odor of hydrogen sulfide when running faucets and showering. I'll absolutely put this at the top of my list for my next hill country stay.

The location was great with Deer all’s round the property and very comfortable with humans. The view was very nice and the split masters worked perfectly. The house is a bit dated but overall worked great for our needs.

We had an awesome stay! We chilled in the hot every evening.

The house was a good size. It was clean. The backyard was awesome. They have a really large back porch, a screened in porch, a hot tub, a fire pit and the view was great. It’s a good location. The only thing negative I can say is that they did not provide coffee. I’ve never been to a VRBO where they don’t provide some form of coffee. It seemed odd to me that there was a coffee pot and filters but no coffee. It’s not a huge deal. We drove to H-E-B, which is down the street and got some. But you should know if you plan to stay here that you need to bring your own coffee. I would stay here again and recommend this property to others.

Location is great, very close to HEB (grocery store) and downtown Wimberly! Private and peaceful property, deer visit each morning/evening. Love the games provided, especially backgammon & the beds/sheets are EXTREMELY comfortable! Cooked dinner all 4 nights and the kitchen had most essentials; wish there was a casserole dish, mixing bowls, and a pitcher for making OJ. The gas grill needs to be replaced but there was a charcoal grill to use. The jacuzzi was wonderful, it did blow a fuse but the owner had someone out to fix it quickly. This was my second time staying here and I can't wait to visit again!!

Nice property close to town. Enjoyed the creek. Water does have a pretty strong smell but normal for we’ll.

My friend and I enjoyed the great views, comfortable beds, we saw lots of wildlife. convenient location.

this property location is great. deer were roaming and we saw a fox. location is close to town. quiet property and quite large acreage with a nice firepit . nice bedding and towels. AC works fantastic! great having two master suites. BUT be aware - septic tank needs cleaning. smell to take a shower and when you open dishwasher is awful. I've stayed at other homes with septic tanks and it doesnt smell like this. the home needs updated pictures. paint is peeling off front door...there are no blinds that function properly in the entire home. All the open and close mechanisms are broken. ceiling fan in den needs balancing. its very loud. the hot tub cover is so old and crumbling into the hot tub. there are pieces all in the bottom. the oven is missing a piece near the floor. watch it or you will cut your foot. The silverware has mostly disappeared. We were constantly washing utensils. there were 5 forks and maybe 4 spoons... We were there for 3 nights. hoping the owner provides updates and TLC on this place soon and spends a little money to update. especially for the price!

The property was pleasant. The grass needed to be cut. Overall it was very nice. Check in sucked. Everybody is always changing things. Check in should have been at the latest 3 pm. Stop screwing the little guys.

Had a quick stay here whike in town for a volleyball tournament. House was nice sized and fully furnished. Definitively served its purpose.

We enjoyed our stay - however- the hot tub worked for day one only, we had to clean mud from the front porch, the tv is on the way out and the screened in porch was not clean. Somewhat over priced…
