Located in Twin Palms—Palm Springs’ first full mid-century modern neighborhood and one of its most exclusive, highest price-per-square-foot communities—this Cary Bigman architectural home represents a true Atomic Ranch restoration. Painstaking efforts were made to preserve the home’s 1960s integrity, maintaining original features, materials, and finishes while curating period-accurate décor and designer pieces that celebrate its space-age heritage.

The residence showcases Bigman’s signature circular “flying saucer” roof canopy and orbital living-room ceiling—dramatic hallmarks of his futuristic modernism. Inside, walls of glass, a custom circular sofa, and a Bigman-style stone fireplace anchor an open, light-filled living space. Each of the three bedrooms offers private slider-door access to the outdoors, ideal for morning coffee or an evening swim. Other things to note –

Pool heat is optional. If desired, pool heat (84 degrees) is an extra $75/day or $400/week from Oct 15 - May 15 and is payable upon check-in via online private payment service.
The fireplace is decorative and not for actual use.
AC thermostat range is 76-82 degrees. Heat range is 65-78 degrees. This is to ensure the HVAC system functions properly year-round.
All property televisions are Smart TVs and come with major applications; no Cable TV, guests may use their own subscriptions.
You must be 25 years of age or older in order to rent this property. Maximum of 8 adults and 2 children allowed by the city.

PETS/ SERVICE ANIMALS: Only house trained dogs are allowed (no cats or other animals). Applicable pet fees of $50 flat rate per pet are assessed per stay; dog needs to be approved prior to check in. Animals are not allowed on bedding or furniture, and must be under the control of owner at all times. Note: post check out if animal waste is found on the property or animal hair is found on bedding/ furniture guests may be subject to an ADDITIONAL cleaning fee of $100. Pictures of each animal must be forwarded for FINAL APPROVAL after booking.

    The host was very friendly and available. The house had everything I needed for my long stay. I had a dog with me, and she enjoyed hanging out in the pool area. Neighborhood is lovely and quiet.

    My wife and I stayed at this property for a number of weeks and we had a great time. The house is as advertised and the Twin Palms neighborhood is quite and full of other mid-century residences, while being close to downtown Palm Springs. The pool is outstanding and the backyard beautifully landscaped. If you like to golf, Indian Canyon is close by, in great shape and excellent value (play the south course). The host was very communicative and easy to work with. We would stay there again.

    Cute mid-century modern house in quiet neighborhood. Good location- close to downtown. Plenty of space for 4 of us. Nice pool with lots of lounger seating. Appreciated the washer and dryer. Overall, nice place to relax in the desert.

    A1950's bungalow with no upgrades other than kitchen & bathroom sinks, not a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Garage where washer and dryer are, very dirty. Had to run the water for 5 minutes before you got hot water. Fireplace not working, as noted on listing Otherwise, Great location, large backyard, great beds.
