Perfectly positioned in the rolling hills of Newberg, Southfield Cottage offers a peaceful escape surrounded by some of Oregon's most celebrated vineyards. Guests can stroll to Brick House Vineyards and Aramenta Cellars, or stop by Domaine Divio just down the road for an unforgettable tasting experience. A short drive brings you to downtown Newberg, where you'll find local favorites like Rosmarino Osteria Italiana, Forage Café, and The Painted Lady, as well as boutique tasting rooms and artisan shops. Whether you're savoring pinot noir under the oak trees or exploring the vibrant food and wine scene nearby, this is wine country living at its finest.

This custom-built, single-level home with an open floor plan offers an inviting space for relaxation and gathering. The elegant kitchen features beautiful quartz countertops, brand new appliances, and all the essentials needed to prepare delicious meals for family and friends. French doors open from nearly every room to the backyard, where sweeping vineyard views create the perfect backdrop for your stay.

The spacious living room includes a cozy sofa, a large flat screen TV with DirecTV service, and plenty of natural light. The sofa also converts into a pull-out bed for additional guests. Each guest beyond four will be charged a small additional fee—please let our team know upon booking so it can be included in your total.

Two luxurious primary suites offer comfort and privacy, each featuring a king bed, high-quality linens, and private ensuite bathrooms. Both bedrooms also include flat screen TVs with Roku streaming and DirecTV service, large closets, and direct access to the outdoors. The bathrooms are designed with double sinks, tiled showers, and excellent lighting, complete with hair dryers, diffusers, straighteners, and plush towels for each guest.

Step outside and take in the fresh Oregon air from the spacious backyard and covered patio. The charcoal grill and outdoor dining area are perfect for enjoying meals al fresco, while the lush lawn invites games or leisurely afternoons with a glass of pinot in hand. In the fall, you will find ripe apples along the driveway and blackberries growing wild around the property, a sweet bonus of your countryside stay.

Southfield Cottage is surrounded by Ribbon Ridge Valley grapevines, part of what makes this setting so special. The vineyard is actively growing into a wonderful source for Willamette Valley pinot noir, and during the spring and summer months, vineyard crews may be working in the surrounding fields between 6 AM and 4 PM.

This work may include general vineyard care, light equipment use, and organic spraying when needed. Crews will not enter the rental property, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as this special crop is cared for.

A delightful local visitor, a friendly dog named Fetch, often stops by the cottage to say hello. He belongs to the homeowner who lives over the hill and knows his way home. Guests enjoy his company, as well as the occasional sheep grazing in the neighboring field. If you prefer not to have company, you can simply tell Fetch to “go home.” Southfield Cottage is also dog-friendly, so your own furry friend is welcome to join you on your getaway.

The attention to detail and thoughtful design make Southfield Cottage a truly special place to call home while exploring Oregon Wine Country. With space for up to four guests, it is ideal for two couples or a small family looking for a peaceful and elegant retreat.

Our mission is to offer high-quality hospitality to Willamette Valley visitors while coordinating with the best local partners to maximize guest experiences through customizable concierge services and hand-selected amenities. We specialize in luxury short-term lodging options with the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail so that you feel completely at home during your stay.

Use our private wine tour service, Pinot Car Wine Tours, to experience the beauty and unique culture of Oregon's renowned wine country, where every visitor walks away with lasting memories. Enjoy the best of Oregon Wine Country with our knowledgeable guides and discover all the treasures our valley has to offer.

Everything was top notch. Especially the bucolic setting! The Brick House winery up the road (you can walk to it) is well worth booking a tasting in advance. Also Domaine Divio was a must! Also walkable! If you enjoy the setting (and birds) our Merlin app was great fun. 23 species of birds identified in 45 minutes!!! We’ll definitely be back

Wonderful property… Wheelchair accessible with two roll in showers so a perfect wine tasting getaway for two disabled couples or anybody who needs extra accessibility!! It is absolutely silent at night and very pristine. Huge kitchen and amazing wraparound balcony with views of the valley and vineyards. We will definitely be back!

House felt brand new. Extra nice touches-like quality wine glasses, beautiful appliances/kitchen, soft towels, not stiff at all. Hosts replied immediately and had great customer service on all questions I asked. Stayed with our best friends and we all agreed it was our best VRBO stay any of have ever had.

It is truly special home and property. Be sure to ask the property manager about the spraying of the vines to be sure you are not home when that is taking place. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

This little property is very special. It’s very quiet and peaceful. However, be prepared for people working in the vineyard that surrounds the house starting early in the morning. It’s too bad that they don’t have separate zones for heating because one area of the house might get quite warm while the bathrooms are chilly.. I would also get toilet paper holders on the wall much easier than what they have now. But it’s a special place. It’s just very very quiet if you don’t like quiet don’t go there..

This property was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly stocked and maintained. The correspondence prior to, during, and after our stay was flawless. We were new to the Willamette Valley and it stole our hearts. We will definitely return to this property.
