Southern Shores/ OBX - Spectacular Oceanfront Setting- Primo Views-Pool /HotTub

The house is as pictured on website, spacious, beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The owner was very helpful and immediately responsive. The kitchen was very well equipped. And of course the beach was beautiful to look at (so many lovely views from the ample decks) and even better to enjoy time together as a family in the sun and waves.

Excellent house! Check in was very easy. The house was immaculate and kitchen was the best stocked and equiped kitchen we've ever had on vacation. Being a family of 14 with 6 of the 14 being children, the space was perfect. The kids loved the game room.

The house is beautiful! We had so much space! The three adult couples each got a suite with attached bathroom. Our kids (ages 14-21 hahaha) got to spread out. We enjoyed our private walkway to beach, pool, hot tub, and balcony to look at the ocean. The living room had plenty of comfortable seats. We watched a couple of movies as a group. My dad got up early each morning to see the sun rise and then would take a walk. We flew kites, some of us went parasailing in Duck, my son (14) enjoyed the crabs on the beach, we enjoyed eating out at local restaurants, mini golf and go karts, and we even went to see new Jurassic park movie.

We were a party of 8, 5 adults and 3 children. everyone had their own room and all the adults had their own en-suite so the layout of this property worked very well for us.Pre-trip the photos provided by the owner were wonderful and accurate. As a design professional I can say that no photo could begin to capture the panoramic wonder you experience in this property. Will definitely be staying here again. Tangent to the views there is a lovely diversity of spaces within the home and around the decks that encircle the entire east and south sides and some of the south west as well on both floors. Screened spaces with shade and breeze, some spaces with full sun - so many options. The main space on the top floor is the penultimate gathering area if you are inside. The primary suite on the top floor (where my wife and I stayed) has glorious views of the ocean - we left the east side curtains open to experience the sunrise every morning!. Small details were appreciated such as the top foot of the guard rail wall is detailed to allow for views of the horizon while in a seated position on the deck or inside the home. The house is well maintained and was very clean upon arrival. The pool was perfect for the kids and adults alike when not dipping in the ocean. Just a wonderful expeirence...it is difficult working this week because I want to go back! ;)-AJC

Lovely accommodation's; good communications with owner

The home was beautiful, the view was beautiful it was comfortable for our party of 10. It had a few nics and scratches. Everything worked except the elevator . It was different in that we had to bring our own sheets and towels. Ok, they didn’t let us know there would be no paper goods or soap. Communication was not so good, housekeeper was supposed to let us know when house ready, didn’t happen. Also kitchen towels and wash cloth were left dirty in washer. Would we return of course.

Was a beautiful property, only issue was they say no pets. There was definitely a white haired dog there. Had to vacuum the house. Was not cleaned to my standards.

This was our 4th annual multi generational vacation. It was voted the BEST yet. Beautiful home, lovely setting. House was clean and the hosts were great to work with. No problems whatsoever. Even the weather cooperated.

The house is gorgeous. Our family stayed here for a week and everyone had a great time. Our boys especially loved the hot tub and the pool. Evening walks on the beach and watching the sun rise from the balcony were magical. Great communication with the owner/ manager too. But note - bed sheets are not included which I have never experienced in renting properties for 15+ years. Not a problem to take your own but be warned - it's in the fine print of the contract.
