Stayed Nov 15, 2022Hot tub was not working when we checked in. We actually fixed the hot tub to get hot while staying at the property. Outside remote also had wrong batteries in them. We put correct batteries in them and it worked great. Overall it was a good place to stay or vacation. Screening was broke but that was due to hurricane Ian

Stayed Apr 5, 2021The house and pool are great, as is the location. Hot tub only worked one day, and pool guy came out there once. Main issue is after checkout I got charged $125 to my card for blood stained mattress pad when in fact I noticed it was there after I removed sheets. It was lower corner and not caused by us. All the bedding was very old and cheap. I called twice and left messages and emailed but no luck. A new mattress pad is $20 at TJMaxx. We left the place very clean and washed all towels and sheets, did not put up a fuss about the broken hot tub so should not have been charged an extra $125 bogus charge.

Stayed Mar 29, 2021I was extremely pleased with everything about the property. Clean, updated interior, and spacious. Patio was also spacious with variety of patio furniture, great pool & hot tub. I highly recommend.

Stayed Mar 21, 2021We were a group of 8 ranging in age from 5-71there to relax and enjoy the sun - both were accomplished! The home was very clean and welcoming. We spent a lot of time in the pool area and most meals (at least 2 each day) were eaten out in the lanai. There are a few things that would have made the stay better - list of what's provided i.e. paper products (only 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels) and soaps - laundry, dish, and bath; bed linens were worn and thin, bath towels were old and some had holes in them, master bed mattress needs to be replaced, and the kitchen knives could all use a good sharpening, too. Overall, it's a very nice place.

Stayed Mar 6, 2021The main reason we rented this place (and paid a significant premium to do so) was for the heated pool and hot tub. Upon check in on Saturday at 4:00, we notified property management right away that neither the pool not hot tub were heated. They came out to look at the heat pump for the pool and the fan was completely broken, so the heat pump would not kick on at all, leaving the pool temperature below 70 degrees and unusable. Seeing as how the two previous reviews both expressed issues with the pool heater, I am not sure how something like this goes unchecked during turnover before new guest's arrival. The technician was not able to replace the part to have the heater running until Monday at 4:00, at which point the temperature of the pool was not up to an enjoyable temperature until Tuesday late afternoon. Imagine having to tell 4 children ages 2-5 sorry kids, you cannot use that pool right there because it is broken and the water is too cold. The time it took to get the pool temperature up to heat constituted 3 nights of our 7 night trip (43%) without the amenities that we paid a significant premium to have. I called to inquire about a partial refund and left messages 4 or 5 times without any call backs. Even worse, they almost laughed that I would even inquire about it. We paid a significant premium to enjoy a heated pool and hot tub, which did not work for nearly half of our vacation to no fault of ours and my concerns were simply brushed aside. I understand things happen, but they advertised and rented me a product that did not match the description. If it had been corrected the next day, I would not have said anything about it, but missing a major amenity for nearly half of your vacation is a big deal. After me having to call back again nearly two weeks after our stay concluded, I was told that they would not provide any compensation for our amenities not working. It is really a shame because the owner did a great job with place and we enjoyed it otherwise. I do not see how they do not understand that amenities are why people rent certain places. I hope they are able to switch rental management companies because Roelens is a joke!!! I am disputing the charge with my credit card company. I am also hoping VRBO is able to help, as I reached out to them as well.

Stayed Jan 29, 2021Home is very nice and in a decent neighborhood, had a few problems with pool/spa heater they came right away. Mattresses need to be changed out in every room, everyone complained of how uncomfortable they were, very nice size home and rooms. Kitchen is very well equipped plenty of towels and coolers and also some beach chairs and umbrella along with pool toys in bins by pool area. Latch on door to pool from outdoors needs to be fixed opens and closes in the wind making it noisy ( I’m sure this could be a easy fix) Home has nice space about it and very well laid out. TVs in every room. Neighborhood was quiet. Location is quick to everything . Over all the house is a nice get away just really need to replace mattresses. Would recommend
