This is our third time staying at this house! We love it and have a great time each year! The hosts go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Same time and I place next year!!

Excellent Clean House, my family really enjoyed, the beach is just about a few steps, has balconies to read or simple relax yourself, inside the house the game room and the common area are good when you get bore just go apart and see tv! Pool is the right size! And two bbq pits thats a plus! Mr.Gerald and Ms. Kathy your house is beautiful! The communication with the owners is excellent. I keep it on my favorites to return back again!

No beach view. Grandkids loved the pool. Location near beach was within walking distance.

This was a beautiful house with a great pool. It was very clean and comfortable. It is right around the corner from the beach which was great. We did beach in morning and pool in the afternoon. It was Pet-friendly which was important to us as we wanted to travel with our dog. I recommend it highly

This house was perfect for our stay. The heated pool was perfect to use during the cool weather. The location was great and very close to the beach. The house provided everything we needed for our stay and have already recommended it to friends.

Great stay! Very clean upon arrival. The house had everything we needed and wanted and the layout was great. We loved the game room and heated pool. The location was perfect and such a short easy walk to the beach. The beds were comfy and we slept great. Tons of space inside and out. The hosts had excellent communication. We would book this place again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was a lovely home and a perfect location. I would of provided a excellent rating except for the beds being so uncomfortable. In fact, every bedroom bed was uncomfortable. Too soft and felt worn out. This is a easy fix for this premium rental. Get new quality mattresses. Thanks!

Upon arrival none of the lighting over the kitchen table worked. None of the outdoor lighting on the patio nor the pool lights worked. During the night the air mattress in the downstairs room and the the one in the upstairs sitting area went flat. I called Alex and his wife to come and replace the mattresses as this is completely unacceptable. They showed up and offered to “patch the mattresses.” They said that some “breakers were tripped, and they reset them and we should now have lights and pool heat.” During the night Saturday night, one mattress repair worked, the other did not. I called Alex Sunday morning and let him know that one repair worked and the other did not, and that he needed to bring replacements for the equipment.The upstairs sleeper sofa is a disaster. At some point, someone has replaced a sheared rivet (that obviously failed) with a screw and nut, which neither fit the hole properly nor allow the hide-a-bed to be put up with any less than 2 people. This was supposed to be my vacation, not “work away from home.

Property was just as described. Short walk to the beach. Beds were very comfotable. Plenty of room for our whole crew!

We reserved this home, along with the other property one house down for our Family Retreat, and it was perfect!!! This location has plenty of space, the kitchen is nice and open for cooking and to enjoy family meals in dinning table and bar. The sleeping rooms upstairs are so comfortable with full bathrooms for plenty of room to accommodate all size parties. There are balcony views on both side of the home to sit and relax at night or mornings while taking in the sea breeze. We loved that everything is provided and there are even large washer/dryer machines to take care of any needs before you head out. The home also has a game room that is fun for lounging with plenty of TVs throughout the house. The pool is so peaceful with shade to enjoy all day long, and nice seating outside with BBQ grille to use. We loved the modern look and everything about the property, we plan to come back!

The home was clean and spacious with a good number of beds. The pool is lovely and there are great beach items (chairs and such). It is very close to beach access. The downsides were the extremely long list of rules that were sent a week before we arrived including that, though dogs are allowed in the home, they are not allowed in the pool. Additionally, there were only two kitchen trash bags and one roll of paper towels for our stay; minimal kitchen items other than dishes (not even salt); and the dishwasher doesn't work well so we had to wash everything by hand. The owners were responsive.

Great Beach home steps away from ocean, and close to many beach stores, groceries, and restaurants. Large home with plenty of room for large family. Backyard and pool were great, and the kettle grills worked out great for cookout. Beds were all comfortable, and entire house was very clean. Hosts were quick to answer any questions, would highly recommend this property!

Location was perfect. It is steps from the beach but not on the beach, which means that it is quiet, and you don’t have random people walking by the house to get to the beach. Our extended families took a 5-day trip down to South Padre Island during the 4th of July holiday break. On the 4th the main strip and the beach were packed, but the road the house is in was quiet and peaceful. The fireworks were majestic.The home is very spacious and clean. There is enough room for everyone to sleep as well as gather. Every couch has a pull-out bed and there are 6 beds in the 3 bedrooms. The game room was perfect for all the older kids to hang out and get to have their own space.Full kitchen with all the cooking tools and dining essentials. We enjoyed being able to make meals in the home when we didn’t go out to enjoy the many delicious restaurants SPI has to offer. We also enjoyed having the two charcoal grills to cook out.They do require an insurance during booking and there were a few forms to fill out that detailed who would be staying and what vehicles would be parked overnight. Just simple legal forms that are there to protect the owners, property management, and yourself. I read a reply that mentioned that the city of SPI suggests these in case of an emergency. As with any rental, there were rules listed and cleaning instructions, but they were far less than other stays I’ve had. No stripping linens or starting dishwasher or washing machines. Wonderful stay! House was very clean and had all the items we needed for the perfect beach day! Any issues we had, management was on it. Management was very sweet with speedy communication. Will stay again!

We had a great stay at the Southern Destination property! Plenty of room for my family and great location - just a short walk to the beach! Had a slight issue with the WiFi, but it was addressed immediately by the property manager(s). Communication with property manager was an A. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a family vacation to SPI!

This is our third year in a row we’ve stayed in this beautiful home. We love the amenities and the short walk to the beach… Everything is so accessible its like home away from home we loved it!!

Loved the upgrades! We had a fabulous time! This is our second time here and we will for sure be back!

We were so pleasantly surprised with Destination Constellation! Plenty of room and very comfy. Also loved the pool area and had several night swims! The only suggestion we have is to somehow mark the step down in the game room. We stumbled on it even though we knew it was there! We hope to be back next year!

The property was beautiful. Very clean. Great outside area! Lots of room for everyone to hang out. The short walk to the beach was perfect!!! We had an amazing time with family!!! Owners and property managers were very responsive. Would definitely recommend staying here!! We will be back!!

The location is walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. The house was very spacious for our crew of 15 to spread out. The pool area was amazing.

Very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and the pool area was lovely. Appreciated all the beach towels provided. Close to beach access, with walking distance to a lot.

This property is a great place for a family vacation! We enjoyed the pool, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds! It was just a short walk to beach and property had plenty of sand toys for the kids to enjoy as well as beach chairs for adults! Iwrelaxing, enjoyable week!

Southern Destination is a gorgeous, very well maintained vacation home. We found everything in the home to be exactly as described and depicted in the photos. Our family of five vacationed at Southern Destination for 8 days and we could not be happier with our choice. We will definitely be returning! The home was very well stocked with pool towels, bath towels, dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and around the two dining tables gave us room to spread out. There were several chairs and a cooler provided to take to the beach which was just a quick 3 minute walk. A second fridge located in the laundry room was very helpful for extra storage of food and drinks. Another small drink fridge outside near the pool was convenient for easy access to drinks and snacks. Most of our time was spent outside in and around the pool. The pool and backyard were larger than expected and very clean. The front and rear balconies offer even more outdoor seating and space to spread out. This home has more than enough room for a large group. The beds were comfortable. One of us slept on the sofa bed in the gameroom and found it to be surprisingly comfortable. The other sofas have the same type of fold out air mattresses. There were two full bathrooms upstairs and a third full bathroom downstairs. All were very clean with good storage. We will be back for sure!
