We loved the property and all the things to do! There are kayaks (2), a ping pong table, a pinball arcade game, card games, and a hot tub. The best part is the dock - and renting a boat for your stay is must. We will definitely be coming back.
This had to be one of my all time favorite vacations! The home is in a great location with many wonderful restaurants around! Renting a boat with the help of the property managers couldn’t have been easier, and they were prompt in answering my questions and sharing other great info. I did read other reviews, and agree that they could use some additional pots and pans (something large for pasta or corn on the cob would be helpful!), along with some hot pads and oven mitts. I’d also suggest better lighting in the game room, and a full length mirror somewhere in the home. There were plenty of starter products when we arrived which were greatly appreciated, along with plenty of towels. They even provided beach towels!! I wish I had known prior so I didn’t have to cram them in my suitcase, so I wanted to be sure and share. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, which only added to this relaxing vacation. Would love to go back!!
What a wonderful time at the lake. We stayed 4 night and just stayed on site. 6 adults, 4 sixteen year olds. The house and amenities are exactly as pictured and described. Rental and check in was a breeze. We rented a boat from triton pontoons and having the dock on site made it super simple. Swimming off the dock, and giant Jenga, Kayaking, Basketball and game room! Deck off the kitchen, it was all just perfect for us. Very clean, cool, lots of extra fans and blankets, lots of activitiesEveryone was comfortable and had an excellent time.
We had a really nice stay at this home; the location was excellent and the dock was perfect. We also loved the amenities, like the basketball court and hot tub. A couple things, though….. The downstairs bed is a queen, not a king, so the listing was not accurate. The rooms were small, and there was no real master, which was a little tricky for us, traveling with friends who have young kids. The hot tub didn’t work on arrival, but that was remedied quickly, so props to the property management company for that. However, do feel like that’s something that should be checked at turnover (there was no water and a terrible smell). Also, the house is not well lit, and the kitchen is small. There was no storage for our food, really, and the pots and pans were in need of replacing. The frying pan in particular was a mess, and we needed it a lot. Again, it was a lovely stay, but for the money we would have liked to see the very thing working upon arrival and a well appointed kitchen.
Place is great! Enjoyed our stay ! We had a group from the age of 10 to 76 and we’re celebrating two graduations and an 18th birthday. A few things… the landscaping needs serious TLC. Needs tons of mulch/pine needles and weeding. That was definitely a let down. Also, there are no lights at the dock or near the hot tub. None that we could find anyways. If there were lights, we could not find how to turn them on and there were no instructions on how to do so. We purchased string lights and hung them temporarily. Finally, one of the doors off the living room leading to the patio did not lock/nor did a few of the windows. The unlocked door made me uneasy but by the time we discovered it, it was time to head out. Property Managenent is responsive though. Great place overall. These few things need to be addressed however.
Property is very cute. It is easy to get to as well. Property manager was responsive if any questions arose. Would’ve been nice if there was a master bathroom. Kitchen has everything we needed although it is quite small. I would book this property again.
Great property, beautiful peaceful location, plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, epic ping pong battles and it was even cool enough for a bonfire a couple of nights during our week at Lake Norman. You will not be disappointed in this beautiful property.
This was the perfect home for our family trip. My husband recently retired and we all came here to celebrate and relax. Our grandkids ages 2-9 loved it. The home is everything we expected and more. Very clean, well stocked and plenary of room for us. The outdoor areas are perfect and so fun for everyone. Basketball, cornhole and kayaks. The dock was so relaxing and so easy to fish from. All the homes in this area are beautiful but this one really felt and looked like a “Lakehouse”. We will definitely come back!
We had a great weekend - beautiful spring weather and the fun amenities were well used by the little ones in the house. Next time, we'd definitely stay longer and rent a boat!
We had a blast even in the wintertime. Upon walking in, they had a fully dressed Christmas Tree. Just a couple negatives, as the pictures and the welcome book spoke of being able to use the beautiful pontoon boat or rent, managed politely said, Oh, unfortunately, we no longer rent the pontoon boat. Very disappointing!! The last thing was for the cost per night to not provide basic shampoo and dish soap seemed a little too penny-pinching. Aside from just those two issues, the management was very responsive, and once again the property was awesome, I would recommend this property.
