Stayed Oct 3, 2025This is the CUTEST house right in the heart of all-things Athens. Location is ideal - less than 10 minutes to the 5 Points area, 5 minutes to the Rivet House Hotel by car and 10 minutes walking, and the Chase St. exit was right off the highway so it was super easy to find. This historic area and house has so much charm, you will enjoy just hanging out inside or on the front porch swing. The decor is lovely and very homey - the host thought of everything. Live plants, the artwork, the bedding, the furniture, rugs, etc. It's PERFECTION. I am very picky about my beds, and the mattress, pillows and sheets were so comfortable we slept great. Don't be concerned about the house being on a busy street - at night you can't hear a thing. It's busy during the day but you truly don't hear car noise at night and the curtains block out the light nicely You are also far enough from the train that you barely hear it. The house was spotless when we arrived. The full kitchen had everything we needed- including coffee - and the bathroom was darling - Shower pressure was excellent! We were so grateful to find this little gem for our daughter's family weekend - it was just what we needed and - 100x better than a hotel as we got to hang out with her on the couch after the events, and she stayed 1 night in the cute bedroom with the twin beds. Big thanks to Alycia for the bottle of wine to celebrate us being the first guests and for her being so responsive to my questions. We'll be back!
