South Mountain home with pool, grill, fireplace & fast WiFi - snowbird-friendly

We came for a concert for the weekend and enjoyed everything about this stay. It was a rare gem. Our favorite part was having the canyon hiking trails in the back yard. Everything was in close proximity to the house, and it was just like pictured. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool. We will certainly be back!

Good location, but some things to know before staying here. The house is in a great area right next to hiking trails and close to shopping and restaurants. It was in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed morning hikes and quiet evenings.However, there were a couple of things that should have been explained (or really should have been taken care of) prior to booking. First, the bedroom has a sliding glass door to the pool area, but the roll-a-shield was closed and is broken. So, the bedroom is pitch black with no view as is shown in the ad.Second, there is no cable TV, just the free Samsung channels. That means no live TV or sports, so we were not able to watch any football. You can log in to Netflix, but ad says Cable TV.Third, the grill is not a propane or gas grill, which is what I would have expected. It is just a Weber charcoal kettle, which is too much trouble to cook a meal for two on.I mentioned these points to Vacasa management, but received no response other than noted. I had requested a partial refund but they did not communicate back.

Outstanding property and location. We found the kitchen well appointed, which is perfect for us. We like to cook at home and save a lot of money that way. Also loved the Air Conditioning and fans for a perfect setting indoors during hot weather. The view is amazing. We even spotted Havalenas and many birds we have never seen. We would highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice house. Check in was a little tricky. We didn't have both codes but a two minute phone call solved the issue. It was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the hiking right in the backyard. Recommend this home.

Loved the location and house. Only complaint was the blinds in the master bedroom where broken prior to our stay so we did not get to wake up to the Mountain View

The location was great for baseball. The refrigerator did not have a working ice machine which was a big disappointment. We had to buy ice. The area around the pool needed to be swept.I would not recommend for children because the pool was not heated and did not have a handrail. The house was very clean and organized and had all that we needed. It was great to have a grill.

Nice home.

We just spent a week in this home and it was perfect. It's a smaller home, but was perfect for us. We loved the convenient location close to I-10 and that it was a short walk to the Pima Canyon trailhead. We struggled a bit at first with a garage code and house code. It's an extra step, but it didn't bother us. The beds were comfy and other furniture was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed - except a coffee pot. They did have a refrigerator and they provided a fabulous selection of coffee and teas. Just an FYI if you like to brew a pot in the morning. We loved the backyard. View was beautiful and lots of sun. This is a great house. We will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very comfortable and a good location. We wished the owners would have listed more of the amenities they had in the VRBO as it would have helped with our packing. Only other thing that would have been nice were more restaurant suggestions. Maybe consider a place for your guests to write their recommendations for future guests.

The kitchen was amazing. The bathrooms and the bedrooms were perfect. The garage was tidy. All of the appliances were brand new and really high-end. The pool was 10 feet deep and 3 feet of the shower rent gorgeous views of the mountains and hiking trails were steps away I would love to comenext year next month.

Enjoyed the clean house. Kitchen was well equipped. Pool was a blessing in the Arizona heat.
