Sunset Point is a beautiful west-facing lake front property with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on Lake Leelanau. Our property is on the southern end of Lake Leelanau in a peaceful quiet setting and is just 10 minutes to downtown Traverse City and 20 minutes to Suttons Bay. Stayed Jul 27, 2025They weren’t lying about the sunsets! our family of four loved this house and the location. It is on a quiet street and direct access to the lake from the deck is one of the biggest perks of the house. The owner was extremely responsive when we reached out and the check-in and checkout process were easy. Having the kayaks, lifejackets and tubes available was also a huge plus for my kids. This house was centrally located to all the places we had to visit in the area.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025Awesome home in perfect Western Michigan location. Dave and Laurie’s home is a beautiful lake vacation home for a family or group of friends! We were there for a week with our 3 adult children and space was very roomy and comfortable. The house was extremely clean. There were plenty of really nice towels. Beds were very comfy. Kitchen had all necessities and then some!Being on the lake was great — nice dock and clear sandy bottom. Plenty of water toys for us and large deck for relaxing. The location was perfect with proximity to so many cute towns, bike trails and Traverse City. There are so many things we wanted to do but ran out of time.Will definitely try to return!

Stayed Jun 15, 2025House is on beautiful part of Lake Leelanau and has a big sandy swimmable lakefront. Kayaks are awesome. Furniture and beds are clean and very comfortable. Host is friendly and super responsive. We hope to stay with Dave again!

Stayed Aug 29, 2024We were in town for a wedding over Labor Day weekend. Made it an extra long weekend to be sure we could explore the area in-between wedding functions. We took advantage of just hanging out at the lake, using the kayaks and found a fun shell floaty in the shed the girls loved. House is just as pictured. Beds were comfy. Great views and easy drive to all the hot spots. As always, never enough time to see and do everything, so we will be back.

Stayed Jul 16, 2023Kitchen was good sized and well equipped. Had gas and charcoal bbq grills. Kayaks and bikes provided. TV and cable. Great sunsets. Near Sutton's Bay, Traverse City, bike trail and wineries.
