South End modern beach house - close to beach & mountain.

Our Pauanui property is perfect for a large/ extended family getaway if you want somewhere peaceful, be near the beach, have all the mod cons. There is plenty of parking for cars, bikes and possibly a boat. The property is quite large with multiple different areas to relax / getaway from it all, as it features 2 self contained houses:

1. Main house: A holiday house that has been completely remodelled and repiled in recent years, meaning you get all the charm of a classic kiwi Bach butone that is crisp, clean, bright, airy and spacious, and doesn't make those annoying creaky nighttime sounds lockwoods are known for. It has massive decks on both sides of the house give it plenty of space to relax outside, and the large flat rear lawn with full fencing provides a private and secure area for the kids, vehicles, boat and toys.

2. Back House: a brand new (2022) house with a main area featuring a kitchenette and fridge along side 4 bunk beds. A separate double bedroom at one end, and bathroom at the other. Large decks on both sides with an outdoor shower and plenty of outdoor seating, including a hammock positioned perfectly next to a picturesque stream - perfect for relaxing away the peaceful afternoons.

Set in a quiet side street only a few hundred metres from the South End of Pauanui beach, it's ideally located for families (as that is the safest swimming and most picturesque /sheltered part of the beach) and the shops are in walking distance too. The property is located at the base of Mt Pauanui making an impressive back drop for the property.

Whether it's walking up Mt. Pauanui to see the spectacular view, swimming in the ocean, surfing the break, fishing off the rocks, mountain biking the trails, kayaking or getting tuatua's at low tide, it's all close by to the house.
