South Bethany canal-front house w/ grill, boat dock, and outdoor shower

My husband, four children, and in-laws stayed here and all were so pleased with this home. We loved the location, having a private dock was so fun. We brought our small boat from home and were able to just jump in and go whenever we wanted. The house was clean and cozy, had such a wonderful beach house feel. Being right on the water was tranquil and beautiful. Even with the rainy weather we had, having the screened in porch allowed us to still enjoy being together and outside. The house was the most well stocked kitchen I’ve encountered in any of our rental stays. The house was clean, inviting, and all around a real gem. We already can’t wait to book more trips to stay here next year! Thank you for the hospitality and truly fantastic, relaxing vacation!

The home was great! It was beautiful & well-stocked, with comfy beds, a great layout, & an excellent location. The experience with Vacasa, the property management was mediocre, but everything else was good. We enjoyed our stay.

This house was perfect for our family and in a great location

This beautifully landscaped, well appointed airy 3 bedroom (plus extra pullout sleeping sofas) on a corner lot on the canal was ideal for our family vacation of 6. Our toddler could be put to sleep upstairs while adults gathered in the spacious open downstairs. The common space was well designed for conversation and there are several big screen tvs. The nautical theme and furnishings throughout were modern and clean, and we loved having a screened porch with eating area, and beautiful sunroom for added space. The outdoor deck with Adirondack style chairs overlooking the canal allowed for afternoon relaxation in the shade. Living on W. 9th was ideal for evening and morning strolls to visit the local egrets and other birds in the adjacent marsh, and watching for kayakers and paddle boarders.

Only a 5 minute bike ride the beach, this house is a quiet and comfortable alternative to the hustle and bustle.

House was at a wonderful location! So easy to get to the beach and anywhere else we wanted to go. Loved using the back deck/patio to relax and the blue heron was always hanging around. My 4 year old daughter had fun seeing jelly fish, crabs and catching shrimp! FYI your crockpot doesn't work. It only got warm on high setting. The only disappointment was that the linens that were supposed to be provided were dirty in a tote outside so we spent our first night washing sheets and towels used by the prior guests. That is not the owners fault. Vasaca needs to be sure each guest is delivered fresh clean linens upon arrival. TV was a little hard to figure out. We hung parking info for the beach passes on the fridge so future guests aren't as clueless as we were! Thanks for a great week!

We enjoyed our stay with great views on the canal. The house comes with two parking passes which is key to go to the beach as you cannot walk. There are 3 bedrooms in the house that are very comfortable and a nice screened in porch with a large table for eating. The kitchen has good cookware - which we often do not find in other rentals - and with COVID we dined in all week so this was a plus. The deck has a working grill and nice views of the water that we enjoyed in the morning and evenings. We rented kayaks all week from Coastal Kayak and that was fun. The only thing that was tricky was the fourth bedroom with the four bunk beds that is not connected to the house and the lights were out on the sidewalk area to enter that room, so my girls were too scared to stay down there. I moved around some guests and made it work for us, but that room will not work for small children and it is a bit iffy for teenage girls to feel safe or parents to feel like they are so disconnected from their kids. I would recommend the owner put a queen bed in there with two of the bunks in that room so that it could be used as a two family - shared area as that might make is more usable. It could also use either a TV or a game system - something to do in that room would make it better. Just a suggestion! We had a great time and may rent this house again!

This worked out really well for us. We have a house on the beach side of South Bethany and wanted a spill over house for our family get together on the bayside. This house was great - lots of space, well appointed, and in a beautiful neighborhood. We were able to dock our crabbing boat at the dock and get out on the bay a couple of days which was a plus. There are no photos of the bunk bed room and it worked out better than anticipated - two bunks (i.e. 4 beds) with a separate half bath. They have a separate entrance which was perfect for us since our kids are in their late teens/early 20s. The screened in porch with the big table was also a great addition with many fun evenings spent around it. Overall it was a great fit for our group.

Great beach house for our family. The patio/deck in back was perfect for outdoor rattans games Well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. We didn’t use the bunk room as it was inconvenient to access from the main house but the pullout couch in the back remade a nice extra bedroom

The house was very nice! Close to the beach that we drive onto and to shops and other things to do. The bunk room was a bit confusing as it was not accessible through the house - so it was strange to have the kids in there. Also, the hot water situation was the only other thing that was tough. The house sleeps 12 but only has hot water for 3 short showers consecutively. Otherwise, the home was lovely. The location was great and the outdoor space was enjoyable.
