Stayed Dec 20, 2025A lovely home with perfect views. The kitchen is well stocked with all we needed and more! Christmas lights were so nice to have and enjoyed greatly. Your elevator is greatly appreciated by those with mobility issues. (If you are looking for any suggestions for improvements, we found the couch to be uncomfortable when watching a movie or just enjoying the view.)

Stayed Aug 9, 2025Lovely area in walking distance to Herring Beach and about 1.5 miles to Currituck Beach and the lighthouse. Great house for families with kids and/or dogs- furniture is comfortable but shows the typical wear and tear of lots of use. The house is clean and housekeeping does a good job ensuring beds are made and kitchen and bathrooms are ready for guests.

Stayed Jul 26, 2025We loved staying at Bella Baycove! We've been coming to Duck and Corolla our entire lives and never stayed on the sound side. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets and the house's many amenities like the pool and the long dock with the lounging area at the end. We went crabbing and kayaking and when we wanted to visit the beach, it was only a 5 minute bike ride away. The rooms were so nice and spacious and there was a great living area on the 3rd floor with an extremely well stocked kitchen. That was a nice surprise for a beach house to have things like cookie sheets, muffin tins, and a blender. The bonus area crow's nest was great too for reading and catching up on work and emails. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jul 12, 2025This home was probably our favorite over the past two decades. We come every year. It had an organized and well stocked kitchen (except measuring cups were missing), home has great space and storage. Only improvements would be the living room furniture, it has been abused and doesn't look or feel clean so we wouldn't sit on it without our own blanket to cover. The exterior really needs a power wash as the bugs and webs were way above normal and none of the surrounding homes had it. Great pool and location and otherwise well cared for.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025We really enjoyed our stay . It definitely would be nice if the house came with a golf cart and they paddle boards and kayaks were provided with the house ? Landscaping and house Decor were beautiful! House was a perfect size !

Stayed Dec 21, 2024The house was in a great area, quiet and peaceful. It is also a short drive to conveniences. The view is amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with all necessities one needs to prepare meals. One item that may need attended to or replaced is the furniture on the top floor. The cushions are well used, and don't make for comfortable seating to read, converse, or watch television.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful home. We loved the kitchen. The dock was spectacular. We did have an incident (our last night) of the fire alarm going off for no apparent reason in the middle of the night. Having instructions for such an event would have been helpful; we felt compelled to call 911 which did send the fire department. It was somewhat frightening and disturbing.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was beautiful and well stocked with anything you would need. The sunsets were incredible. My only complaint is outside of the pool area we couldn't use any of the decks because the furniture was crusted with dead bugs. I have read the other reviews so this is not news to the owners. That furniture should be cleaned weekly. It would be the single reason we would not rent this house again. To have these great decks to enjoy the sound and sunsets but unless you want to sit on crusted bugs the decks are useless.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The home was beautiful, clean and well equipped. Loved and used the elevator, great for bringing up groceries, etc to the top floor and for those who can't use the stairs. Shopping is easily accessible. Many beaches you can go to. Make sure to give shoreline your correct contact number as we had a surprise visitor walk into the home. This was uncomfortable and awkward. He was there to change the filters. The only negative I had was the decks - they were covered with cobb webbs, dead bugs and live spiders. Not liking the idea to have to clean when on vacation. I did call shoreline they said they are not cleaned every week, but looked liked they weren't done for many weeks. The pool area and the shower were the same. Hoping they will take care of for the next set of renters. They did say they would see what they could do, but heard nothing.
