Soundfront home, private dock, pool, hot tub, theater, kiteboarding haven ★★★★★

We had a wonderful stay at this sound front home in Avon, NC. The house was spacious and spotless with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the large, fully equipped kitchen made cooking together a breeze. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, using the dock, and soaking in the gorgeous views of the sound—especially watching the kite surfers at sunset. Having an elevator is a game changer!! Russ was wonderful to work with—responsive, friendly, and made everything easy. Perfect for families or groups, and we’d absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful home, the gazebo out on the sound was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding.

The 10 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms were perfect for our group, as was the kitchen/living space. We enjoyed the pool area. We were very disappointed with the beach. We had hoped the toddlers could play in the sand. Even with several people raking, we were unable to clear the seaweed, etc.

Nicely decorated, lots of games, maintenance came when we called about issues, kitchen was well stocked, gorgeous dock on the sound where the kids loved to hang out. Great location close to grocery store and shops, not far from beach. Drawback: pool was a bit small and not big enough for activities.

Seas the Breeze I certainly lived up to our expectations. We needed a home to accommodate our 5 children and 9 grandchildren to gather for a weekend of fun and family bonding. The home provided all we needed. We spent many hours in the pool, fished from the private dock, relaxed in the hot tub cooked together and ate together. It was clean and ready for us with so many amenities available. We had two minor incidents which were corrected within hours. The location was perfect if you want true family time with no distractions. As our oldest son stated this was an epic time for all of us to be together under one roof.

We had 6 adults and 6 kids for a week in June and it was great. Place was huge and had everything we needed to cook for and do laundry for the whole crew. The location is awesome you can watch the sun rise over the ocean and then set on the sound. We brought a boat and tubed and paddle boarded in the sound. Everything was clean and working and if we needed anything Russ and the team were super responsive. We will be coming back next year.

Our stay was easy and relaxing with a beautiful view. This place has it all. A well constructed dock at the perfect location to view the gorgeous sunsets. Wonderful entertainment with a wide variety of activities inside and outside of the house. Just close enough to all the right places too. The host was incredibly kind and responsive as well. This place was worth far more that what we paid, and we sre incredibly grateful that we got to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was super clean and the owners checked in all the time to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home to everyone. Everyone in our party made sure they got back from wherever they were for the majestic sunsets. The location to grocery stores and restaurants was wonderful, less than 1 mile away. Russ is a wonderful owner. We will surely be back!

If you’re coming to OBX, STAY HERE at Seas the Breeze I!! The house, the pool, the sound, the Atlantic, and the location is excellent! We had a party of 18 and the house was perfect as everyone had their own space. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make the most fabulous meals - just bring the food. The gas grill needs some work but we used the charcoal grill instead. (Worked better with the amount of food we had!). Russ is a great host who answers questions quickly and checks in regularly to ensure everything is as is expected. We will be renting from him again when we return to Avon / OBX. You will not be disappointed with Seas the Breeze I - we loved it!!

As soon as we entered the house we realized it was not cleaned at all! Floors were full of sand and hair, toilets still had pubic hairs, the shower floors were disgusting, and the fridge was filthy! Later we rewashed the bedding as it had sand on it too. Under the beds and in the corners there was pet hair. The movie theater had so much trash under the seats. The owner contacted the cleaners who came 30 min later. She said she would take care of the dirty items we pointed out. We had to leave the house for over 2 hours while she cleaned. This was after traveling 14 hours with tired kids! We expected to come into the house, make dinner and relax. For the price we paid, that level of dirtiness is unacceptable. We’ve traveled like this for many years and have never been in such a dirty home! I have never written a bad review. The location and view of the bay is really beautiful but the uncleanliness really trumps everything else. So disappointing. We have photos and videos which were sent to the owner. Instead of remedying the situation he put the blame on the cleaners.

Home was exactly as pictured. Very nice furnishings....especially the outdoor furniture! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware and utensils. Not something I can say about everywhere we have been! Pool was great and bluetooth speakers out there an added bonus. Russ was very quick to respond to any text inquiry and very helpful. I would highly recommend this home and rental company.

We were 20, and we really enjoyed the cottage. Great view on the sound. Close to the beach (10 min walk), very close to the grocery store. Pool is great. Only little issue is with Internet speed was too slow (less than 10mb/s) to be able to use Netflix in the theatre and there is no dvd player. Overall, this is a great location to enjoy OBX with family and friends.

This house was fabulous. The word I used to describe it to everyone before they got there was surreal and they all agreed that is the perfect description. The house itself was wonderful. The location was wonderful. It was furnished about as perfectly as anyone could dream of. There were 15 of our family who stayed there and everyone had a great time. We have been going to the Outer Banks for 40 years. We stayed at a lot of houses and a couple of condos. We never experienced a place as fantastic as this. I don't know if you would ever be willing to have us back, but it would be an honor if we could.

It is a wonderful place for a large family to gather and have fun. Lots of stairs but there is an elevator. Overall we will be going back again.

Perfect location with amazing sunsets. Can’t wait to stay again!
