Sound Dreams: Private Pool, Spa

the house was not clean when we got there. spiderwebs covering the entire home and every window including the cavities between window and screen so you couldnt even open the windows. there was trash in the yard, the pool bottom was covered in leaves and dirt, the pool filter was completely filled with leaves. i requested the pool to be serviced which didnt happen so we skimmed it the best we could and dumped the filter multiple times until it was clean enough to use. the porches and decks covered in debris, shingles, pine cones, etc when we got there so we swept them so we could use them. and there was a hole in the roof over the dining room table that you could see daylight through. wide open for bugs and luckily it didnt rain. it seemed like nobody came to even take a look at the house before we got there. For spending an outrageous off-season rate per night, this was absolutely NOT a good deal or great experience. I've rented houses in the outer banks since i was a kid and do it every single year - this is by far the biggest rip off i've experienced.

Week stayed 2 weeks first week we had company the second was just two of us and our pups. The location is top notch the house it’s self is nice but needs a few things as previously stated in other reviews. But will definitely be back village reality is very good to work with have used them the last two years and will continue. Great vacation!

The house was lovely and on a quiet street. We loved the enclosed pool area. On the downside the mattresses are past due for replacing!!! Unfortunately, thanks to hurricane Florence ?we were only there two nights - mandatory evacuation.

The house is in a great location and is very nice on the inside. However, it needs updated, i.e., new mattresses, new couches (very uncomfortable), needs umbrella in table by pool, and TVs in bedrooms. Only bedroom on top floor has a TV. Could also use a blind on kitchen window. If these changes were made it would be perfect

My family and I were very pleased with our stay. The pictures don't do it justice. So much room!! The location was also very convenient to everything!

First experience with Village Realty...very pleasant and easy to work with. House had a nice layout but there were some maintenance issues. Had a quick response for needed repairs but overall we would say the house needs some updating.
