Sound and ocean views! Beach access, peaceful, family friendly beach oasis!

Nice house for the money. The private dock and kayaks for use were the selling point for my family. We spent some time out back almost every day either fishing or kayaking. The only downside was the beach access, but even that, wasn't as bad as it could have been. It was only about a 5-8 minute walk to the public beach access from what use to be only a 2-3 minute walk.

The property was very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. From the front porch there was a view of the ocean and from the back porch a view of the creek and marsh. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Sitting on the dock you could see the fish in the water and watch the birds. The only issue was getting to the beach. The public access is fairly close by, but if you want to walk to it you have to walk on the side of the road. The road is fairly busy and has a 45 mph speed limit, which made members of my party nervous. We ended up driving the short distance to the beach access parking area and paying the town's parking fee. The house has a lot of stairs and might not suit folks with mobility issues and the dock has no railing. The host was great and we had no issues with communication.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The view of the inlet is absolutely beautiful, and having access to the kayaks was such a fun bonus. The house itself was very comfortable and nicely decorated, with a fully stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. Just a note—there are quite a few steps down to the beach, so keep that in mind if stairs might be a challenge. From the garage and entry level, you go upstairs to the first floor where the bedrooms are, and then another set of stairs takes you up to the living room and kitchen. Overall, a lovely place to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Easy check in & well equipped kitchen. Host was quick to reply when we had any questions. Our favorite part by far was the dock and use of the kayaks.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed and my boys really loved the gaming system. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock. The views off the back deck and down by the water are beautiful. The beach access is close which is a huge bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly decorated with linens/towels provided. Our host was very quick to reply to questions and gave specific instructions for checking in and out. Close to beach access! We had a great stay!

We chose this place because I wanted to both play on the beach and have access to the Intercoastal Waterway! We have young children and flew in from California so we needed a place that offered just about everything, as we could not just load up the car and road trip in. This house provided both bedding and kayaks with a private dock, so it won me over! Laundry facilities were also a major plus! The host was lovely, kind and responsive. Check in was easy and everything was as described in the listing. The backyard dock area is gorgeous—our favorite part, for sure! The kayaks and life vests were there as promised, clearly utilized and loved by past guests (we came at the end of the season, so this was to be expected), but absolutely functional with two adults manning the operation. My boys loved their little room and matching beds and the primary suite is also lovely. Floors and bathrooms were nice and clean. The only thing I noticed right off is that the home is—as stated—pet-friendly. I love pets, but haven’t lived with one for decades so finding pet hair in some of the harder-to-reach spots and in the mattress pads caught me off guard, but like I said, that’s my own fault. I mention it only to point it out to others in case that’s an even bigger deal than it was for my family. ;) We had a wonderful time together in this home and would recommend it to others! I also recommend playing PAC-Man here—so fun!!
