SO MUCH FUN! ARCADE, PL TBL, PNG PNG, YARD GAMES, INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOLS!!

We had a great family weekend in Des Moines. The house is fantastic for a large group. Nice kitchen, dining and living areas. Plenty of bedrooms and nice bathrooms. The game room in the basement was super fun! Everyone had plenty of space and a great time! When we arrived the front door was open and two men were in the entryway with large equipment. They seem to have been repairing the kitchen floor. That was odd, and awkward, but it seemed fine. There was a layer of dust on every surface from whatever work they had been doing, both in the kitchen/living room and the basement, but other than that the space was clean. I would stay there again. It was ideal for a family weekend.

It was a great property! We would highly recommend to any larger groups looking for a place to stay. The rooms and kitchen were clean and we had all of the details needed for a successful stay!

Lots of space, clean, easy access, private parking area. This place had a ton of amenities, everything was well stocked and ready for us. Great place!

This place was a good as advertised. Very spacious! We loved the big TV upstairs and all of the entertainment in the basement. Was a great place for our group.

The house was extremely well-stocked and had tons of space for our group. Everyone enjoyed the activities in the basement!

The place was great for our family Christmas. Plenty of beds and all were comfortable. The teens loved the game area and having their bedroom there was perfect. We cooked all meals there and had plenty of kitchen supplies to use. Very well stocked for anything we needed. We even utilized the pool that was available- it was warm and comfortable even in the cold weather.

Location was goodplenty of space for the whole family to stop and visitall of the darts for the dart board were brokenneeds a good deep cleaningnot sure if the comforters and pillow shams get washed because after stripping the beds you are instructed to put them back on the beds

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and the host! Whenever we needed assistance, he was immediately available and took great care of us. The house was spotless and offered endless fun! It was incredibly spacious, with plenty of entertainment options right inside the home. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation!

Awesome place for a large group! My dance team stayed here and loved it. Would definitely recommend! Lots of great amenities and plenty of room to hang out. They even had it decorated for Christmas which we loved!

House was clean but could have been more deeply cleaned. Kitchen cookware needs some upgrade and refurnished cooking utensils. Pool was great and basement entertainment games were very fun and enjoyed by all.Did have to unplug several fragrance plugs as aroma was a bit overbearing. All bathrooms were well stocked. However the sliding glass doors on one Jack and Jill bathroom needs replaced as it was difficult to open without glass door leaving track on bathtub. Would also be helpful to have a handrail in bathtub or at side to assist getting in and out of tub. Enjoyed the place and would definitely recommend house for large family gathering and would rent again.

We had such a fun time here! There was so much to do which was great since the wind was relentless. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had so many amenities. The location was close to many things but quiet and we were unbothered while we were there. We would definitely return!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! Good location to Ingersol, Downtown. Host was very communicative and engaging. Perfectly suited the activities planned. Very spacious, provided games, plenty of beds. Parking needed to utilize the closeby apartments. Definitely would come back.

This property met all our needs. We had a family reunion/ 50th anniversary celebration. The many amenities kept all of us entertained!!

Place was dirty with ants, AC broke, and water was in the basement after it rained at night.

Was everything we were looking for!

Our children greatly enjoyed their stay, with plenty for them to do. They enjoyed all of the downstairs games and recreation as well as the nearby swimming pool.

Excellent location and clean property. Plenty of things to do in the area as well as comfortable living space at the property.

Everything was great and really fun!

Our family of 5 adults and 4 children stayed at the Woodland house from December 21 to 25. Our daughter's family of 5 that lives in the area joined us during the day. The house has plenty of room up and down. The basement area was especially nice for the kids and adults to play with plenty of space for cards, playing pool or ping pong. Full size laundry was very helpful. We contacted the host a couple times for needed items (wine glasses and tv remotes). They responded in a timely manner. Beds were very comfortable and there were more than enough towels. The kitchen has plenty of plates, glasses, cups and service ware. I recommend more dish towels in the kitchen and an additional blanket available for each bed. The bedroom with the king bed was very cool at night. Overall, we had a wonderful time spending time together in a home with plenty of space for a large group.

Golf simulator wasn’t working which was our favorite game. Asked to keep Christmas decorations up since we were celebrating Christmas but that didn’t happen. Place needs thorough cleaning. Some mold on walls. Garbage under beds.

This was perfect for our whole family to all get together and celebrate Christmas! We ate, played games, opened presents and were able to drink without worrying about have to drive home Steven was very quick to answer any questions we had

Worked great for us. Plenty of beds for everyone, held a couple day meeting. Close to restaurants and easy to get too.

Great place for the 8 guys who stayed. Plenty of space and lots of activities to keep everyone entertained.

Very easy to work with! Made sure we had everything we needed very friendly had our Bach trip here and it was a great time with the basement games!

This was a perfect place for my 2 siblings, their spouses, and my adult special needs nephew to stay for our cousin reunion and visit to the Iowa State Fair! The basement rec room is amazing! All appliances were in good working order and we loved using the new washer & dryer. The amenities left in the bathroom were more than you get in hotels. Towel quality and size were great. NO postage stamp size bath towels here! We grew up in Des Moines in the 50’s & 60’s so we felt very much at home here. Loved the seclusion and quiet of the location. Easy to get everywhere from here. Will DEFINITELY rebook for future family get togethers.

We had 11 adults and 2 kids. I felt the bedrooms upstairs were good and used pack n play supplied. My husband and I slept down in the room that had a table and pac man video machine in basement. We had our double high air mattress in there, but I feel the owners could put a queen size bed in that room cause it connects to bathroom. Our other single adult slept on bunkbeds in basement but no privacy in main part of basement. We were mostly couples so didn’t utilize all the beds upstairs. There were 2 big refrigerators which was great. Kitchen was great and lots of seating. Had condiments and spices there. Would stay here again. Great location near Grays Lake and winery.

We enjoyed the house as expected!! We entertained ourselves with the games in the basement!! Loved the big dining room table for cards. It was great having all the bathrooms and bedroom space for our family!! He thinks of details in the house. We would love to stay at his other properties and even go to this one again.
