Stayed Aug 12, 2023The cabin was very nice and as shown in the pictures. The deck looking over the lake was simply beautiful both in the morning and evening. The fire pit area wasn’t the best since the shrubs and trees were very close and didn’t leave much space between the fire and seating. In addition it was on hill so you couldn’t really sit on the other side of the pit. Just below the pit was a felled tree and some other items it looked like they were cleaning/clearing out and looked unkept and because of that I would be worried about kids and dogs since some of the planks seemed to have nails sticking out. It was our first time in Mercer during the summer months and it was very quite and relaxing. Overall we had a very nice stay.
