Sunshine and refreshing breezes make this huge lot the place to be with over 200 feet of sea wall situated on a safe and quiet street in an upscale neighborhood, which makes for great walking and bike riding - especially if you always want to be near the pool! Indoor/outdoor living is always an option at this home, where guests can pull back floor-to-ceiling doors to enjoy a seamless transition between the living room and the comfortably furnished deck. No need to hire a fishing guide, this property is right on the canal and has great fishing right off the dock. The lanai is all set up so that guests can enjoy a swim while they watch the fish jump in the canal, which constantly takes place no matter what the weather. This property has a desirable eastern exposure with beautiful western sunsets overlooking the water and is 10 minutes by boat to the Gulf of Mexico. The private gas grill will set you up for nights of summer barbecues, and the full kitchen (complete with a wall-mounted oven) is nearby for assembling side dishes. The entire home is cooled by central air conditioning (a must for waterfront living). If work has to come before play, there is a desk workspace with a printer all set up for guest use. A ceiling fan is set up all in every bedroom to help you fall asleep with ease. There's no stairs to worry about here, so everyone can come along to relax.

Dock details:
3 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 32 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.


Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

    Our family of 6 loved staying at the Coral Cascade! It was very spacious with an awesome bunk room for the kiddos. The pool area was awesome with beautiful sunset views, a great pool for the family and patio for relaxing. All furnishings were top notch - no issues for us while we stayed! The location was a nice quiet street with quick access to the local marina where there was a great coffee shop, restaurants and live music. It's also an easy 30 min drive from areas like Ft Myers Beach and Sanibel.

    I am only reviewing the lovely home we were privileged to rent for our two week vacation in Cape Coral. The home was extremely clean; had all necessary appointments for kitchen, bath and pool. Located in a lovely area, it was in a quiet neighborhood close to Pine Island, Fort Meyers and Sanibel & Captiva. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the property. The views of the intercoastal were fabulous. What a gem! I would stay here over and over!! Unfortunately, the property management company is another story. Our pool was supposed to be heated and was not. Once it was on, the bill they presented us was for the entire stay. Haggling over that took us until the day prior to our departure at which time they threatened us with expulsion. This put a damper on what was otherwise a super vacation.

    When we arrived, the pool was bright green with algae, no chlorine, and unsafe to use. We called everyday multiple times asking for someone to come out and clean the pool but it never happened. Finally, on our last day we decided to clean the pool ourselves and add chlorine. We shouldn’t have to do this as guests, but we wanted at least one day of pool use. The house itself was nice and in a nice area, but we were very unhappy with the customer service and lack of urgency to our issue.

    This house unfortunately was hit by the hurricane and still was rented out to renters when it shouldn't have been. Pre-hurricane it was probably nice but too many issues to ever make us want to come back. Pool cage is gone, dock is mangled, screws all over the pool area which my children stepped on. One guest room had physical water damage inside even though Vacasa and the property manager assured me there was no internal water damage. I have the pictures to prove the black water stains on the carpet, curtains and sand on the windowsill. Edges of carpet are all black- mold is for sure in this home. The garage was an absolute mess because it got flooded, trying to get beach chairs out was disgusting. Only one of the 5 bikes worked. Very disappointing to my children. The listing said it was 10 mins to the Gulf- lies, its 35 minutes to open water fYI. This home needs some TLC desperately. All of the carpets are stained and the tile floors are cracked and loose throughout, countertop cracked, cupboards warped etc. There are no top sheets on any of the beds as well. The last day a boat showed up on the dock so we couldn't park our boat. Vacasa was no help when I called in a panic. Vacasa is incredibly hard to work with and I will never rent from them again. Vacasa down right LIED to me on the phone FOUR times when I called to see if the pool cage and dock were damaged. Do not rent form them. If this property had some updates and a new property manager it might be better. Sorry to be so blunt but when I tried to complain to Vacasa it fell on deaf ears.
