Awesome Cabin.. We have stayed here several times and really enjoyed it… cabin is always clean and the neighborhood feels safe and quiet….will come back for sure!
The property was nice, the cleanliness was awful!
We had a great time and wish we could have stayed longer.
Beautiful area however cabin was treacherous to enter and parking for maybe two vehicles. The area between the driveway and the door threshold needs to have a flat landing to walk on for safety. Also the kitchen was not equipped adequately for the number of guests advertised. Probably won't be going back.
The cabin had everything we needed for our 2-week stay. The only suggestion I would have is to put some written directions in the guest book on how to turn on the TV. After multiple attempts we still were never able to use the TV during our stay. Also, the thermostat kept defaulting to 81 degrees, after which we would reset it to 68, only to have it return to 81 in a couple days. We are not tech people and could only continue to reset it rather than figure out why it was happening. Since we were Hurricane Ian refugees, we really weren't much in the mood to play tourist but did manage to get to Franklin, which was a beautiful little town and the scenery in the area was spectatular.
Great location that enables one to go anywhere in town and around Western North Carolina. The view is beautiful from the front porch. Our host was most cooperative and quick to help when something was needed in the cabin.
Nice, clean, and cozy cabin in the Southern Appalachian mountains near Franklin, NC. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved spending the evenings on the spacious balcony overlooking the hollow while watching wildlife and the smoky mist rise up from and across the mountains. The cabin is located close to some amazing mountain trails and beautiful waterfalls.
The house was very clean. Has a beautiful view I bet when the leaves change it is breath taking. The owner is wonderful had a great chat via text and he went out of his way to recommend some places to eat including screen shots with the times they were open.
This was perfect for our small family. We are avid hikers and the location of this cabin really puts you close to some incredible spots. And then it is a great place to come back to for relaxation and great views. David was great to communicate with. We will be back.
Loved the decor. Cozy and peaceful.
We enjoyed our time exploring the area. The property was as described and met all of our needs.
Fantastic place to stay. Serene and so relaxing. Outside of town but close enough to get there within 10 minutes if needed.
Property is clean and in good shape. Convenient and easy to get from cabin to Franklin and surrounding areas. I would stay here again if visiting that area.
The view from the cabin is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. I do recommend keeping your fur babies really close at night when you take them out. There is a lot of coyotes around there. You can hear them close to the cabin at night howling. When have them bad around our house and they worry me all the time with mine. This has no reflection on the cabin just a heads up. This was one of our best trips to the mountains and we come up twice a year. We can’t wait until the fall.
