Great host! Wonderful spot in a convenient and safe location!

The Rockhouse was perfect for my family. Franklin was a great host, explained the processes thoroughly and even left gift bags for my children. Snacks were provided which was an added bonus. I was very surprised to find laundry pods and dryer sheets available for use in the laundry room. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next adventure to St. Louis.

What a lovely spot! The Rock House was perfect for five of us. It’s a little smaller than we realized from the pictures but had everything we needed and tries so hard to make everything perfect. With so much to do in St. Louis we just needed a place to rest and recharge and that’s exactly what we got, plus a ton of extras no other rental I’ve ever stayed in offered. The little touches—drinks waiting, little gift bags for the kids, etc—made it clear the owners were very involved and would do anything to make sure we were comfortable and provided for. They could have given 50% less effort and still be five stars. Highly recommended!

Check in was very easy, the extras the host offered were so thoughtful and the kids loved the goodie bags!

The place is set up nice and the listing says up to 8 people can stay. It’s a little tiny for 8 ppl. Some of my guests ended up leaving because there wasn’t enough sleeping space. It’s big enough for 4-5 ppl max. I got a message that said check out was before 11, but when I booked the listing stated it was at 11. Immediately after the first email I received another at 11:01 I got another message from Franklin, that the property must be evacuated immediately!! Now bc a housekeeping had arrived. The tone & message was petty, rude & very unnecessary. I could see if a 1/2 hour had passed! We weren’t trying to live there, LOL, sheesh we were simply just gathering things and making sure we didn’t leave anything, and also tidying up a bit bc we didn’t want to leave the place a mess! We’ve stayed at plenty properties and never been rushed out within a minute or told that the check out was sooner after it’s already been noted. I’ll never book this place again!

It was very kid friendly and also very adult friendly! The neighbors are very nice! It has a great park for the kids and is close to attractions!

First I want to say thank you Franklin for allowing me in my guests to use your property thanks for stopping the fridge major plus snacks and chips etc me and my guys had a nice weekend even though it was raining but we still had a good time thanks again I recommend to everybody else.
