Smith Mtn Lake 3 BR, 3 bath Lakefront Home; private with great location

It was clean. Kitchen is very nice, all the basics were there. The place has an old vibe. Beds were ok. Pillows awful, totally flat. Bathrooms ok. Hot water was inadequate, luke warm in two out of three bathrooms. I heard the couch in living room you sunk in when seated. Not good. Decor old (including bed linens), dated. Place seemed dark and just outdated. I would not recommend..... Has LOTS of potential. Hire a decorator.

This was a perfect property for our group. Great views and easy access to restaurants. We rented a boat and found this location convenient for our daily boat excursion. Check-in was easy and rhe owner communicated well.

Beautiful location on Smith Mountain Lake. The view was picturesque. The house was nice more like a cottage feel.

Lovely house with a beautiful view of the lake. Lots of great spaces to enjoy family meals both inside and outside to enjoy the view. During the reservation process and leading up to our stay the owner has went above and beyond to communicate and assist us in any way he could. It was a wonderful stay and would definitely book again!

5 friends spent the weekend enjoying the beautiful lake view and warm sunshine from the amazing front deck! The house was just right for the 5 of us and we especially liked having 3 baths! The kitchen was so nice and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We are already planning to return in 2025!

Rented this house for a much needed weekend away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life...My wife and I came up with my sister and her husband. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, fishing from the dock, and the local restaurants. Setting up the rental was super easy and communication from the manager/owner was impeccable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to slow down, unwind and appreciate the beautiful views.

This is our 5th time coming to SML for a fall weekend with our family. So far, Autumn Cove has been our favorite. Host was very communicative throughout. We plan to stay here again in the future!

The home is exactly as described and photographed! The homeowner is the nicest person we have ever rented a vacation home from! We traveled from Alabama to Virginia to attend a family wedding during Hurricane Helene. Kirk, the homeowner, provided the code to the house early so we could get into the house when we arrived. He checked on us as soon as we arrived because the power and water were out due to the storm and there was no estimation for how long it would be before services were restored. Kirk offered to refund our money, but we decided to tough it out and hope for the best! The services ended up being restored during the evening and the wedding festivities in the area were perfect! I would highly recommend renting this lake home! There is plenty of room, a beautiful view and a nice game room that entertained our grandkids! Thanks Kirk for checking on us throughout our stay in your lovely home!!

This was my first time ever renting a house. The owner was fast to communicate and the house was as listed. Clean and in a perfect location for us. The view is amazing from the deck. Lots of room for us 4 adults and 2 kids. Would definitely stay here again

Family visit to SML for my grand daughter’s wedding. Our stay at Autumn Cove was perfect ! Close to the venues at Parkway Marina and Belle Gardens. We enjoyed the spectacular views of the lake from the huge back deck. Loved watching the deer ! Close to Bridgewater Marina , restaurants and grocery store. Owner responsive and check in easy . Would love to rent again for a longer stay!

The house is in a great spot on the lake. Quick boat ride to Bridgewater or Drifters. It was extremely clean and comfortable and communication was excellent throughout. We loved all the deer in the yard and the view from the deck was unbeatable. We’ll definitely look at this property first next time we head down!

We've vacationed at SML for about 15 years, but this was the first time renting this house. We loved it! Great location by land and by water. House was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed except sheets and towels, which we rented as per usual. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was very convenient. The deck is nice and spacious while the lot is not too steep down to the water. We also rented the house next door where our daughter and grandkids stayed. The kids LOVED swimming from their dock to ours and back again. The house has plenty of board games, too, which the kids loved. Everyone had a great time! Would definitely rent again.

There was great view of the lake with not to steep of walk to the dock. The accommodated 5 fishermen well.
